Okami

I went to Okami for lunch and was pleasantly surprised to find one of the greatest lunch deals of all time. For $8, I got a small miso soup, a small salad with ginger miso (?) dressing, a couple of dumplings, chicken with a teriyaki sauce, rice, and a few pieces of sushi. If you're still not thoroughly impressed, keep in mind that this is a Japanese restaurant and lunch was TASTY.

There are other lunch specials that appealed to me, but I don't remember exactly what they were. There were some really incredible sushi lunch deals and other offerings similar to my lunch only with beef or tonkatsu (the breaded pork dish) instead of chicken.

Again, awesome price, awesome food, and after my sorely disappointing experience at other places, was pleased to get hot, fresh tasting food for a great price.
