Well, this one is unique. Go down a large staircase at the front entrance to the basement of the Economy Inn (formerly The Stardust Motel) and you'll find  a couple of pool tables, about 10 tables w/ chairs and a huge sort of half-moon bar with normal banquet chairs around it. No there are no stools as the bar is chair height (which I love).
The place hasn't been update in eons and is pretty dirty. However, the bar itself is nice and clean because the resident tender Alec ensures it is. He serves up drink specials there including some special concoctions like pudding shots, jello shots, the slutty gummy bear, and grown-up chocolate milk Tuesday through Saturday most weeks. He always has a listening ear and a few laughs to boot, but runs the bar with speed and excellence.
Basic toaster oven foods and Butch's famous frozen pizzas are served as well. Try the baked potato pizza! Yum! And Alec makes all the food behind the bar so no surprises there.
They normally have karaoke on weekends (sometimes a few DJ songs thrown in for listening or dancing) and it's a mixed crowd including people from every social group it seems. Very accepting group and any trouble-makers are quickly shown the door. There are a few TVs for the sports fans, etc.
A good place to relax and have a few drinks or sing a few songs as long as you aren't looking for a ton of class.
