Bought a package through livingsocial for my wife's birthday. I surprised her with the trip and she was ecstatic. The staff was great. SO accommodating and friendly. Not once was I treated differently because I had a livingsocial. The gardens were beautiful, Spa was relaxing, and dinner was delicious. The rooms are so cute and quaint, with their own fireplaces and back patios. We will definitely be returning!

Rooms are cute, you get a little back patio. The restaurant is relaxing, wine is yummy, food is pretty good, just not the breakfast buffet thing they have in the morning. I don't get the whole fake egg stuff. That's what it tastes like, powdered eggs mixed with water than baked or something. I really like the lounge area. Very relaxing with a fireplace and nice live music. We had a talented guy just playing some acoustic stuff while we drank a lot of wine. Overall not a bad place.

Oregon Garden Resort is a little less than the sum of its parts, but is in a gorgeous setting with lots to explore nearby.

The jacuzzi was nice and clean, and  the right size to share with another guest but not be awkward. The pet friendly rooms were great, and dogs are allowed all over the grounds. The landscaping is very pretty, with nursery plants and Oregon natives thoughtfully intermingling.

There were some rough edges, especially in the restaurant. While the service was friendly and fast, the food was so-so. The complimentary breakfast is fine for grabbing a bite, but it's nothing special besides that. Coffee was actually pretty good.

The "dressing" on the Thanksgiving plate, was chunks of rolls drenched in gravy. Even worse, the pumpkin pie was still frozen at seven PM. The goat cheese appetizer was pretty good, and a big plus for vegetarians is that they will add Field Roast sausage to any dish in place of protein. Also, hello! Nice wine list.

It's super cool to only have to do a one-night stay and get away to a quintessential part of Oregon, with art, farms, architecture, vineyards, an eccentric cool little town (Silverton)... Great for road trippers or locals.
