Two years ago, I never thought I'd be saying this...but after watching their pizza quality decline while the price rose, and then a broken pizza oven -- broken for over a month -- and a Caesar Salad so drenched in dressing it was inedible, and the list goes on -- I decided that they must have employed a new cook.  I kept going back for more over several months, thinking things would improve.  And then one day, I stopped going entirely.

Friendly, laid back place with awesome beer prices.  $2 pints during Tigers games, $3 Summer Shandy bottles.  Karaoke on Friday was nice...seemed like a locals place, which I like!

Just went here yesterday for my birthday. They had baby back ribs on special for $12.00 for a full slab if you buy 2 drinks each. The regular price for the ribs is $15.00. I was not expecting much being a older bar atmosphere. When the waitress brought both myself and my friend out a whole slab each........my eyes were a big a saucers......what a generous portion of baby backs we both got. These ribs can be cleaned to the bone with just a fork they were so tender. I ate 1/2 of my slab and took the rest home with me. The ribs were the best baby back ribs that I have eaten in years. I go every summer to a Rib Fest in Chicago where they have 16-18 restaurants competing for a title and cash money so I know my ribs. My rating is for the ribs and the service that we received at 4:30pm in the day. I have not tried any of the other food here. Excellent ribs at a block buster cheap price with great service gets a 5 star rating in my book every time. I will go back again for sure.

The new menu has a new burger that isn't a frozen hockey puck and I now highly recommend it.

Someone said they used to have a wheat pizza crust.  Wish they'd bring that back.

why anyone would go here is beyond me.
the problem is not the staff, owner, etc it's just the location.
    Its industrial.

If your out on the town, and what a good neighboorhood bar, drive the extra miles and hit novi or plymouth. Your girlfriend, wife, will appreciate you being a gentlemen taking you someplace exciting and full of life.

Otooles is regulars who drink for a hobby.

Hubby and I were here on a Monday and ordered an appetizer of Asian wings and the Monday special $6.99 strip steak with fries.  For the steak, we paid a $4.00 split-plate fee with no complaint -- after all, this is their loss leader.  But when our dinner arrived - no extra plate!  And no extra steak knife!  And so few fries they didn't even make a decent serving for one!

It took our waitress well over 5 minutes to bring the second plate, and a second request and another 5 minutes to get another knife.  But here's the real kicker -- when we complained about how few fries we received, we were informed that we would have to pay $1.99 for an extra order of fries.  By this time (as those of you who are good at math have already guessed), we might as well have ordered another steak dinner.

I think all of our our steak-related problems would have been solved with a decent waitress - ours could not have been less enthusiastic and still remained standing.  The steak itself was tender and juicy, and prepared medium rare, just as ordered.  And the fries were crispy and hot.

Back to the wings...  First of all, they arrived a full 30 seconds before the steak, even though we explicitly asked for them to be served as an app.  This I also blame on the crappy service.  Secondly, though, they were absolutely tasteless.  If this was Asian, it was water sauce.  Not delicious, not at all.

Despite the relatively bad experience, I think we'll probably be back, since the steak was good and the deal, pretty unbeatable.  Oh - the deal required a 2 drink minimum, which we happily met.

Not sure who's fault this is but we found this place through <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FRestaurant.com&s=0aab4cbd731f3d3b0d1453050d3abc56a8c80bd214e25469c7555b750dca8a51" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://Restaurant.com</a> and the menu on that website is nothing like what was actually at the restaurant.

One of the things that intrigued us was the online menu said they had wings made with Ghost Peppers!  We get there and they have breaded wing dings with a tiny amount of hot sauce on them.  I was interested in the pizzas shown in the online menu, but there, Pepperoni pizza is the last item at the bottom of the menu.  What??

Outside it looked like an average, run down bar.  Inside, the same.  Waitstaff was alright, but not great and no help in deciding when I was stuck between two items.

I had the French Dip and fries.  Au jus was extremely salty (I see Mic said this too, but even the Miller Lite boomba I had couldn't hide it was a salt lick in a bowl).  Tender meat, but the au just ruined it.  Ken had fish and chips, which were not bad.  The highlight for both of us was the $2.99 hot pretzel app... that came with a plastic tub of cold processed cheese.

Glad we got the $10 off.  Do not see us going back again.

    This is the former Bamboozles.

The menu is similar, some of the employees are the same, and the overall layout is the same.

What is different is the addition of many flat screen tv's as well as a few new pictures on the walls.

It is obvious they are working hard to change things up.

Ok as far as the food goes, on a random Thursday I ordered the 16 oz NY Strip, very good, the au jus was a little salty but nothing my jumbo beer couldn't counter! My meal came with soup or salad, fresh veggies and a potato. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty.

While there I saw the sign for the same steak on Mondays for only $6.99 (very good deal), but this is with a two drink minimum per person ordering!

The service was decent, and the prices were good.

I used to go here when it was Bamboozles for dinner and live entertainment, and we always had a pretty good time. Since changing hands (and names) I have not been there later on the weekends, so I am not sure if the live entertainment is available.

The bottom line...after a few transitional bumps with menus, prices, waitress costuming, and the lack of experience with the new crew (which they resolved by hiring some of the originals back), they seemingly have worked out (or are working out) their issues.

As I am writing this review, I am thinking about going there for dinner...I know they say its not good to go grocery shopping when hungry...but I think the same applies to Yelping about food too.
