6pm on Saturday and the place was empty except for a few noisy folks in the bar. Â There were about five servers who, for some reason, were giggling and screaming in the back like schoolchildren, loud enough to disturb our dinner. Â Ordered mussels, was served clams. Â Food 5/10, kind of pricey. Â Had to ask for bread. Â Even though the place was empty service was very inattentive. Â Crab cakes quite
cornbready.
I really like this restaurant. Â It's a little off the beaten path (off of route 611 in ottsville), just enought to give it a little off the road atmosphere and privacy.
The it feels like the bucks county inn you expect to find. Â The food is good, service is fine and the crowd is local. Â If your in the area stop by, you won't be disappointed.
The food is just OK and they are not very accommodating. My wife ordered plain fish an it came out with a sauce, when she told them she specifically asked for it plain the waitress started to make some excuses. She took it back and it seems like they washed it off and cleaned the plate and sent it back out. We refused it and they made salmon instead it came out raw in the center, second time it was ok. $22. for salmon, green beans and a small salad, not a good value. I could say more about the chef that came out to talk to another table, he should of stopped by our table as well. Save your hard earned money and go elsewhere, we will not be returning.
