The good: The staff is nice.
The bad:  the food. First the coffee was way too strong. I put in 6 sugar packets and 3 cream. Coffee was still dark brown and very bitter. I had the baby back ribs. THey are suppose to be "falling off the bone" tender. I'm just glad the knife was serated. Got a new term for their ribs: "sawing off the bone". Ribs were dry and tough. My wife had a chicken & noodle dish. She said the noodle were good but the chicken was dry. I'm adding this place to my NEVER go back to list.

I usually enjoy  the meal at outback but haven't been to one in a while.  The food on this visit was pretty bad.  The ribeye steak (my usual choice) was very dry with no taste.  The grilled chicken that was ordered for my son was also very dry.  The sweet potatoe (which is onecof my favorites) was tasty but the size of a small roasted potatoe.  Overall the food quality has gone down hill.  A shame because there are many choices for steak out there and Outback use to be one of my favorites.

Had dinner in outback steakhouse, Bellingham
    275 N. Main St., Bellingham, MA, Jan 12th, 7:30 pm -8:10 pm.
Eat Filet with wild Mushroom Sauce, served with garlic mashed potatoes,
    Clam chowder, and Caesar salad.
Horrible stomach cramps stated from 3:00am, Jan 13th, following with Nausea, Vomiting and Diarrhea. Went to ER in the morning on Jan 13th, and was diagnosed related to food borne illness. Given IV with medicines, and was released in the afternoon. Called the restaurant, the FO manager said he would report to the company on Monday, Jan 15th. And then, there was a lady called Monday afternoon, said they would investigate and keep me updated. She also suggested me to do stool test but the company would not cover the test cost, and she told me that since there was only one person, that is me reported, even if the lab result shows bacteria, it couldn't indicate it came from their restaurant.
The following two days, I still suffered stomachache and diarrhea. And by now, nobody from the restaurant or the company called again.
I feel angry and disappointed. What a customer-no-care company!

The worst ever from a Outback.  Evening started with a 45 minute wait even with a 6:45 pm dinner reservation.  Don't even bother with the Seafood Mixed Grill - totally over cooked and the smallest portions of mahi/shrimp and scallops.  Waitstaff  and management sympathetic but there really was nothing they could do.  Kitchen was backed up with a 45 minute wait for food so any offer they presented my party would already be done with their entrees. Sure the meal was compensated for but it was too late too little especially after hearing from two manager how many others complained about this dish and there is nothing to be done.

This is the worst Outback I've ever been to. I think it might have formerly been a Japanese restaurant and wasn't remodeled to fit the Australian theme, but that's not a big deal. What is a big deal is that the food was more like Denny's than Outback.

I ordered the filet with a side of crab legs. I got the runt of the crab pack and pretended to believe that the two scrawny sticks I got were the 1/2 pound side I paid for. The filet was about half as thick as every other Outback filet I've ever had, and it looked like it'd been boiled rather than grilled. Gross. My four year-old ordered mac and cheese, which she said tasted yummy, but she had to eat it off of a humongous serving spoon - no, not a pasta spoon but a serving spoon. Other diners with us had varying degrees of disappointment with their meals and the only one happy was the four year-old. We're all Outback frequent diners, so we were surprised that this particular one could even be called by that name. The waiter was very nice when he occasionally appeared and the hostesses smiley, but the food and the atmosphere were not of the usual Outback quality.

Food and service are good. I enjoyed sitting at at the bar.

The Outback has always been one of the few chain restaurants I like but this was my first time at this location. As usual for a Friday night, it's packed, so call ahead and have then put your name on the list. We were seated soon after we got there because of that...otherwise the wait would have been 35 minutes.

we ordered the chicken artichoke flatbread for an appetizer which was really good and not too filling or heavy. I ordered the 6 Oz outback special, medium rare and my boyfriend ordered the tilapia. It comes with a bunch of options for sides, and you get 2. Both of our meals were very good. My steak was perfect.

The waitstaff was friendly and prompt. It did feel like we waited a littler long for our entrees, but drinks and apps were served almost immediately. The manager walked by asking if everything was okay and if there was anything that needed fixing etc...but it didn't.

summary: the outback is one of the better chain restaurants and if you want a good but relatively inexpensive steak, come here. It's always busy, so call ahead if you don't want to wait.

I am in southern Mass. on business and went here hoping to get the steak and lobster.  Well, it turns out that Mass. has a law that prevents restaurants from selling lobster tails only.  I am sure this is to protect their lobster industry, and this was not Outback's fault.

Upon being seated, I waited just under 10 minutes before a server even acknowledged my existence, much less took a drink order.  Then, there were two occaision where my glass sat empty for nearly five minutes.  The food was decent, but the service made the meal a bad experience.  When I dine alone, I am normally in and out of the restaurant fairly quickly.  It took me nearly an hour to have my meal tonight, and the restaurant was only about 25% full.

I will not be returning to this location.

Just a warning -- when you see those commercials advertising a special with lobster, you can't get it at this location.  They also think that 3 medium shrimp are equivalent to 1 lobster tail.  I haven't quite figured that one out yet...

Their burgers don't disappoint though, and the blooming onion ring is sooo good.  I'm also a fan of their loaded baked potatoes.  The waitstaff is friendly and I've never had to wait to get in.  My husband always orders steak, and I've noticed the portions seem to be getting smaller.  The food doesn't fill the plate, and is visually disappointing.

I went to Outback Steakhouse for the first time last night with my boyfriend and the waitstaff said it would be a 25 minute wait. That's fine and understandable, considering it was a Friday night around 7.  But when I have to wait for 40 minutes and families and couples who walked in at least 20 minutes after us were getting tables then I start to get aggravated.

The waiter was very nice and accommodating and the bread was very tasty however, the baked tilapia with butter sauce was very bland and to be honest, I've baked fish before and even my boyfriend agreed that I've made better. The steamed vegetables were decent, though the crab stuffing on top of the tilapia was somewhat disappointing. Not enough crab as the menu made it out to be and it tasted like they used fish stock in it.

So over all? Bread: Tasty and highly recommended. Fish? Very bland and boring. Crab stuffing : Fell short of expectations.  Vegetables : Decently seasoned and tender. Over all meal experience: Mediocre.

Would I go back again? No. Much too expensive and overpriced for bland food and a lack-luster menu.

This place is fantastic.  A favorite chain (I don't like chain restaurants normally).  They hire the friendliest wait staff that are knowledgable and are attentive.  This is a good place to stop by for a reasonable price, quality and relaxing atmosphere.  I recommend it.

My food was WAY past well done.  There was a waitress talking to a guy at the table over and said that she grabbed his "take-away" bag and found it very heavy.  She peered into the bag and turned out she had grabbed the wrong bag.  Although she did give him the correct bag in the end, the incorrect bag had several charred steaks that were sent back to the kitchen (ready for the trash).

bread? really good. burgers? really good. service? really good. everything else? ugh.

i swear, its no wonder that you dont see people rolling themselves out after dining here. there is so much salt in everything, you'd think we'd all be bloated like a freaking blimp. you know what the seasonings on the steak is? SALT. save up your cash and hit a real steakhouse.

I received 20 dollars of gift certificates to this place and had a craving to have a steak so I figured I might as well use them. Fat Chance. My memory had no recollection of the prices. So I being broke had to settle for the hamburger with fries. But my memory does tell me this a great place to go for a steak and potato.

The burger was good but the onions that I wanted were these little, ok tiny, pieces of onion. At least i think they were onions. The fries were great though.

I did check out ever other dish that past me and if they tasted and good as they looked I would give the extra star. I have to wait for my next visit.

The staff was polite and attentive. I did sit at the bar so I got the charming bar maids. And then she left. So I got stuck with the one who must have been missing her trivia game at home. But no fear the two guys sitting across from me were keeping her from getting lonely. So I sat there until she was done. I did finally get to pay my bill, so that was a plus.

Oh if your wondering, she did know all the answers.

This is one of my favorite chain restaurants, and in particular this location.  I've always had friendly waitstaff, and the wait usually isn't as long as some of the others I have been to.
The food is very good.  I usually get the Outback Special, which is a 12 oz sirloin with just the right amount of spices.  We usually try to get a 2nd loaf of bread too.  That stuff is so incredibly good!
Finish it off by having a chocolate thunder from down under.
    Crikey, that's good!
