When you just want to get away from it all, even for just a brief amount of time, and forget your troubles, the best place for me personally is The Outpost Saloon in Monitor. Friendly service, and laid back attitudes are what this very old, very rustic, country saloon is all about. The best thing is that this bar is so close to the city in reality, yet seems like light years away. Very relaxing and the prices are very reasonable.
 Can't say I have ever tried the food here(except maybe a Hot Mama or a Pickled Egg), though I have heard good things from those who have.
