I had their ziti pizza. It was thicker than what I usually see - which I appreciated and I loved it. Lots of pasta and cheese, one slice is a meal in itself.

I also had their peanut butter ice cream pie and it was OK - I think it had been in the freezer too long and was life a rock! I know ICE CREAM cake is hard but usually when you're serving it you let it sit out a minute so I fork can go through it. When I first tried to take a bite my fork flipped the whole thing over like I was trying to slice into an ice cube.

The pizza was great, I just won't get dessert again..

Got two pies there tonight ... large cheese and meatball and sausage.  They were absolutely horrible.  Had terrible indigestion and thought i was going to be sick.  Paisano's is not for me.

The pizza reminds me of good ole Brooklyn pizza when I was a kid -- love it!
Pasta is very good too. Overall a good place to grab a quick slice or low key family dinner.

This pizzeria is close to my friend's house so we've ordered there before and although it's not the best, it passes as sustenance.

During our last order I calculated that they had overcharged us by $2, which I thought nothing of at the time and just assumed someone just screwed up and I'm not going all the way back for $2. For our last order it happened again and the tax seemed to be calculated at 13%?

I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Somewhere where appropriate calculations are done.

After hours of shopping today and ending up between Target and Walmart, there was a real need to refuel our culinary tanks.  We had three options....Subway at Walmart, Hot Dogs at Target or Paisano's Retaurant.  We tossed our coin of misfortune and ended up at Paisano's, hoping they were better than our last visit in January (hair in the food and a problematic male manager prevented us (and several of our neighbors) from visiting for nearly a year.  We walked in to find a heavy set woman in a ponytail, talking on the phone and using her left hand to wipe her nose.  We stood there for a few minutes and just watched her wipe..wipe..and wipe some more.  I told my buddy that we should leave and his response was..."she is not making our food, so just lets get something".  We ordered our slices from a very nice gent behind the pizza display and had the misfortune of having to have contact with the nose wiper to pay.  My buddy paid and glad it was almost exact change since she did not ONCE sanitize her hands, get off the phone or stop touching her nose.  Sat down to some of the most dissapointing pizza I have had the misfortune to consume.  I had the brucetta pizza slice and buffalo chicken slice.  The pizza crust was soggy with so much liquid (not grease) dripping it took two napkins to soak it up off of my papter plate.  I wish the original owner was back since he opened a great restaurant and the new owners are just running it to the ground.  If you want pizza....stay away from Paisano's.  They will surely turn even the biggest pizza lover into a pizza hater.  I would waste my money on a frozen Shoprite brand rather than waste my money on their supposed Italian Pizza.  Not sure what disgusted me more....the nose wiping heavy set woman behind the counter or the disgusting garbage they sold as pizza.  The only way I will eat there again is when I see the sign "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT".  Sorry Watchung....you've lost a customer!

I have been going to Paisano's for some years now, but tonight will be the last time.

I drove 20 minutes one way to pick up two subs, and when I got home, one had no toppings at all. So I called back, and the owner informs me that I have to come back and he'll make another one. I asked for a credit instead - no way. I asked for a delivery - guys are busy, not happening. He talked to me like I was somebody not worthy of his time, even though they screwed up. Then he just banged down the phone when I said I would not be returning.

Nothing is worth that kind of treatment.

My wife & I were there last Friday, shared a house salad and two personal pizzas. Everything was excellent! Best white pizza with fresh garlic I ever tasted. The owner/manager was very friendly. We'll definitely be back

This is not the Paisano's of old.  This new and worse Paisano's that is gross even for Jersey Shore 3 O'Clock in the drunk morning pizza.  The crispy thin crust pizza  at almost $3 a slice has been replaced with a thicker wet sponge consistency crust so it can soak up the barrel loads of grease.  The pools of grease that coat the tops of all slices will drip down your chin and turn your plate in an orange reservoir of cheese grease.  The fountain soda has a unique selection of RC cola, Diet 0 RC, Sunfish? Orange, Grape, an the saving grace of Dr. Pepper. Realizing this is the only place to eat in the Watchung Mall other than a Subway I must urge all to pass Paisano's for the day old rolling hot dogs at Targets food court.  Sorry Paisano's but I couldn't wait to get home and vomit one of the worse slices of pieces up.

Go for the pizza, wings or cold heros. I've tried nearly all of the pasta and parm subs at this place and the pasta and parm subs are horrible, the whole lot of them.

My old review still stands though, pizza and wings are the best thing going for this place and the cold heros are good as well.

This restaurant is right next door to a supermarket that I shop at regularly, but, foolishly, I never even bother to try it, until now.
They have quite a large menu of pizzas, Italian entrees, al forno pastas, etc. They also do catering, and their prices for full and half trays of Italian specialties seem reasonable.
I went in for a quick slice, and although they had some interesting-looking pies on display, I don't like my pizza reheated after it has been sitting around. Luckily, they just pulled a plping hot, pepperoni pie from the oven as I stepped up to the register.
The flavorful crust was thin, and just rigid enough to support the toppings without drooping when folded lengthwise. i held the slice over my plate for about a minute to drain, and a liberal amount of hot grease formed an orange puddle. Happily, the pepperoni, cheese, and sauce stayed right where they were supposed to without sliding off.
The sauce was delicious and nicely seasoned. The cheese had the proper texture, and all the ingredients melded well together. I enjoyed my slice, and I will definitely come back to try some of the other food.

Surprisingly, one of the best pizza places in the area can be found in a strip mall...ok maybe not so surprising.

Paisano's is a great little pizza place hidden between Border's and Stop and Shop in the Watchung Mall.  The have everything from pizza to salad to al forno to subs.  I got the capri white pizza, which was deliiiiiiicious.  They have some really interesting "gourmet" style pizzas, and the personal size is a perfect amount of food if you're hungry.  The chicken parm sub is also AWESOME!

Great place for a quick slice of pizza - they have 10 varieties at lunch time (Chicken Gorgonzola is my favorite - don't knock till you've tried it - it's heavenly) .  Or order a while pie- try some of their combos or think of one yourself.  Or go to the restaurant half where you don't think you're in a pizzeria and order one of their custom prepare (you'll have to wait 10 minutes or so) entre.  I like their salads and soups too.  And it's BYOB so the final bill for the meal is reasonable.
Obviously they deliver I you want to sit in front of TV or candlelight at home!
