Wow! What a terrible restaurant. Â The service is atrocious, I've never had worse service, and I've traveled corner to corner of the world. Â If you love frozen trash passed off as food, this is the place for you. Â I've been here about four times now, which warrants a review, as I have never been greeted in under five minutes, even on a good day. Â One time, we weren't even greeted at all, sat there for 15 minutes, before we decided the best decision was to leave and find an establishment that actually appreciated our willingness to spend money. I feel, if you have awful food, you should at least have decent service, but apparently that's not the goal here. Â I can go on and on about the pathetic efforts put forth to serve their customers, but instead, I will leave it up to you to decide....enjoy!
Review Source:Yumm!! My favorite go to place in Kent or when I'm in Cleveland. Â The service here is great and the waitresses are friendly. Â I am usually seated right away unless it's later in the evening on the weekend. Â My favorite is the grilled chicken sandwich on 9 grain bread. Â The prices here are great for the quality of the food!
Review Source:The best spot to be in kent ! Has over 30 beers in tap and 100 bottles of beer. Service is wonderful very polite and fast ! Food was delicious and served hot ! Loved the atmosphere including a huge patio with a bar and fire pit outside and a huge bar inside including over 30 TVs! If you haven't gone to paninis in kent I highly recommend it !!
Review Source:Stopped in last Saturday to watch OSU with some friends. Â Great place, tons of TV's to watch the game and the big football crowd to make it all the more fun. Â Beer special with a keep the glass promo Coors Light if you like that. Â I enjoyed the big selection of draft crafts beer and they also have 99 different bottled beers according to the wall of beers. Â Split a pizza (white delight) and some wings, both very good, hot and made well. Â Â Server was friendly and kept the beers full as needed, which I like. Â We were probably not the ideal group as people kept joining our table, but she handled the situation well. Â Â Will definitely be back,
Review Source:The service here is not very good. If you're eating at a table, rather than the bar, your waitress will be sure to ignore you. The food is overpriced and leaves much to be desired, unless you go on Working Women's Wednesday. For some reason, the free appetizer buffet is generally pretty good.
The place is good for a night of dancing. On some nights, there is a guy that takes requests in the Pub, live music in Panini's, and a DJ out on the patio. It can get pretty packed.
Our friends suggested this local restaurant for which we went there the week before with our friends. The food and service was wonderful. We sat on the patio and it was very enjoyable. So we decided to come back again the next week. Boy was this different. The waitress Chelsea never came to check on us. We ordered the same sandwich that was ordered the week before. Our waitress never asked this time what type of bread or how we wanted it cooked. We were really looking forward to the pretzel bread so we were surprised when it came on a regular kind of stale bun. This sandwich was loaded with jalapeño peppers and messy. We had to track down our waitress for napkins and when she finally came back with them, she never even noticed nor took care of our bone empty glasses. The next time we saw her was when she dropped off our check. We thought maybe the waitress was new and maybe she wasn't trained properly, but when we asked her if she was, she said no. When we explained that we had spicy/hot food and we needed refills on our drink, there was no apology or offer to fill them. Her response was that she was waiting on the bartender for another table that came in after us. All we were looking for was acknowledgement and perhaps her learning something for future customers, but what we ended up with was an employee with an attitude who really didn't care. This was apparent when she brought us back our credit card and how she abrupt she was with us and again no apologizes or even a nice goodbye. It is a shame how a bad hire can make such a negative impression of a business.
Review Source:Don't get the nachos. $12 with guacamole and it looked exactly like the nachos bell grande at taco bell, just with out the meat and 3 times more expensive. They also took 45 minutes to come out, and arrived cold, soggy, and disgusting. I can make my own store bought chips with canned cheese flavored sauce much faster and for much less money. I would have much preferred taco bell. When the waitress came to give us our checks I told her and she responded with "I wish you would have told me sooner", meanwhile that was the first time she came to our table or was visible since taking our order. Slow and somewhat unfriendly service, bad food. There was barely anyone in the entire restaurant and I am not hard to please. My friend did have the chicken tortilla soup, and that was very good.
Review Source:Hubby and I brought the kids here on a bright and sunny Saturday afternoon to find the place empty! Â I was surprised, but seeing as KSU was out, it wasn't totally unexpected. Â We had a wonderful time! Â The boys loved all the TVs and the food was brought out fast and fresh. Â Very hot all around. Â I only gave 4 stars because parking is a bit of a bitch. Â Yeah, I'd come back!
Review Source:Remember back in the day when they let you in underage and you chugged your friends beer in the bathroom?
Or that Saint Patty's Day at 5 AM when you sang karaoke (Def Leppard) and chugged your beer - only to be escorted out by 7AM?
I do. Â Mostly. Â
Panini's was the fall back bar. Â The one you went to so that all the younger friends could hang out. Â It was the bar you went to before heading to Mugs and after Mugs to have one of those tasty sandwiches. Â
Oh good, remember when you would eat french fries on your sandwich without thinking of the yoga class you should take the next day to burn those fabulous fried calories. And the coleslaw? Â
Good times.
