We decided to stop at Patricks after visiting the Berkshire Museum. Although it was a busy Friday night the wait was only 10-15 minutes giving us just enough time to order drinks at the bar. We had asked for a table outside and the atmosphere was pleasant. Our server (?) was attentive, informative and able to make substitutions without any issue. The traditional (hot) & teriyaki ginger wings were ordered crispy, both were fantastic! The hot corned beef on rye bread topped with sauerkraut, Russian dressing, and melted Swiss cheese was stuffed with a generous portion of meat and did not disappoint. The Philly Wrap with shaved sirloin steak, sautéed onions & mushrooms, provolone and cheddar cheese was lightly grilled and filled with an ample portion of meat. The burgers, one traditional the other with bacon, were each 1/2 pound, handmade and topped with lettuce and tomato. Although sautéed onions and cheese are extra we chose to add fresh onion slices instead and substituted the chips that accompanied them with crinkle cut fries. The burgers were cooked exactly as ordered and served on a nice bun. Our server kept a watchful eye on the table clearing empty plates and offering refills when appropriate. A visit to Patricks was a nice end to an enjoyable evening.

This place is a really cool place.  I had the wings because everyone's reviews said they were awesome. Guess what they were pretty badass!  Then I went on to getting the peanut butter pie thing and it tasted like a Reese's peanut butter cup as a cheese cake thing.  Soooo good!  Good place for groups and service was good.

Patrick's has a weird place in my heart. I think the only reasons I go there is because of (1) the wings and mozzarella sticks, (2) the outdoor summer seating and (3) I always see people I know there. The food is nothing less, nor more, then average. Rather bland but certainly edible. The waitresses are usually friendly and cute but the kitchen is real slow on busy nights. They have a good looking and well run bar. One thing that drives me nuts is that they give you pitiful amounts of blue cheese for your wings and then charge you for more! The mozzarella sticks are fantastic though.

    12 bucks for a freezer-burned veggie burger...no thanks!

A nice, cozy pub in the middle of Pittsfield, they have decent wings and decent food. The restaurant itself is nice, I like the exposed brick and it is very well-maintained and clean. The waitress that I had was very nice and accommodating, providing prompt and personal service on a very busy night! The drinks were okay, the jolly rancher martini tasted a lot like grenadine but she fixed that immediately!

I ordered a cobb salad and was satisfied. I would go back again to enjoy simple, bar type food in the future. Some food is overpriced while others it is extremely fair.

I ordered wings (Score = 9 outta 10 - hot, crispy, and well sauced), Cesar salad (Score = 7 out of 10 - well dressed, nice crunchy croutons, some limp leaves) and finally the Potato Skins (Score = 7 out 10 - if they weren't alittle burned I'd give em an 8, come on guys...!).

Good food and drinks, reasonable prices. Probably the best dollar-food-value on North Street.

Not sure exactly what anybody sees in this place. I know the locals will swear by it. Maybe it is living on its laurels from times past. The "famous" wings, less than average. Soggy (despite asking for them extra crispy) and the sauce bland at best. The bar service: impersonal. It wasn't particularly busy but the two bartenders seemed to be very busy doing "barback" tasks. I had to flag them down when my glass was empty and making conversation with them was impossible.

After a long day to/from Saratoga Springs to bet on the horses, stopped in on a Saturday night for drinks and dinner.

Thank goodness we had reservations, as the place was slammed. And, we waited a solid 5-7 minutes after being seated before we even got a whiff of a menu. Unfortunately, this was the tone for the evening, but...we didn't have any other plans and nowhere to be, so we were ok with the long, drawn out experience. From the looks of things, the servers were on their feet and wheeling about the entire time; perhaps Management is attempting to do more with less at the expense of their servers? Not sure. But, something to consider if you have anywhere to be after you eat.

We ordered a large platter of wings for the table, drinks, and a variety of sandwiches, entrees, and salads.

The wings were great, and on par with what I would expect. Nice and crispy and lots of meat; I personally would have loved more sauce, but that's just me.

The sandwiches were decent, the salads were huge, and the entree was on the mark.

Check came in a somewhat timely manner, and our to-go/leftover items were buttoned up nicely.

Great wings.  Summer solstice salad is delicious! Staff is very friendly.  I suggest calling ahead so you don't have to wait.  Only downside is that you might have to wait longer than you'd expect for your food.

My now ex-boyfriend is from this area and he and his family love this place.  There is nothing remarkable about this place and the Guinness was not pulled correctly.  I didn't eat anything there but the dishes coming out of the kitchen did not make me want to eat anything.

If I "need" a drink and I'm in the area I'd stop in but I wouldn't make a special trip to go to it.

A local sometimes favorite. Tonight I had the chicken almondine which was incredible. It came with a side of pasta. The pasta was topped with garlic and oil. The olive oil was too overpowering, so i sent it back. The waitress brought me another side, but said she had to charge me for it. How's that for customer service?
I refused the side order and my party did not order dessert & coffee. The $1.50 charge for the side cost the restaurant $28.00 in dessert and coffee. This is not smart business to me. There are many other places to eat in town and for the time being I will take my business elsewhere. Good food, poor management.

My friend had some bad fish and they refused to remove it from the bill. Not good.

We recently were lucky enough to find a good & large  local pub just adjacent  from The Crowne Plaza Hotel.
The building itself is very old and has a lot of cool history behind it, as we  walked past a 15' high wooden door. Folks, this is not your typical 'box' pub that was put up in 56 days. lol...This building once housed prisoners  during the Civil War (correct me if I'm wrong)..So, if your a big American Histroy buff, then  you'd like this part!!
There were plenty of good 'window seats' which overlooked the center of Pittsfield. We were fortunate to have been seated on a cute two seater table. There were plenty of folks there enjoying a Saturday night out....great local beer "Steel Pale"...was tasty!
Now for the entrees! My wife enjoyed her fried scallops/fries. Included was a delicious ceasar salad which she loved as well!
I had the "Petite Steak" dinner for only $9.99 which also included a house salad. I received a generous portion of steak and really enjoyed my medium cooked piece of meat with some A1 Sauce!!! I also subsituted my fries for some decent mixed vegies which included green beans and yellow squash!
Our waitress was very good and gave good advice about some local attractions. We did have to wait a little extra than 20 mintutes for our entrees (when your hungry it feels like forever) but well worth it! We also noticed many familys and friends entering Patricks Pub throughout our stay!

Can't wait to return again for some good food!!!

After a two-hour-long search for a decent pub in the barren land north of Pittsfield, we walked into Patrick's and found a god-send.  We were greeted immediately at the door and at the bar where we sat down (a nice change from On the '6 Pub in Williamstown, where there was no hostess to be found and we sat at the bar for 20 minutes without so much as a glass of water or menu).  Mike, our bartender/waiter was friendly, attentive, and knew his beers.  They had a nice selection of local and seasonal beers on draft -- I enjoyed a Harpoon IPA.  Perhaps the best part was the the food.  I ordered a house salad with grilled salmon and was not expecting much.  But I got a huge, fresh green salad with a tasty piece of salmon, grilled perfectly.  W loved the made-on-site fish-n-chips -- particularly the super fresh fish they used.   All in all a great experience.

Decent place. Reasonable food and prices. Nice interior. Seems like the place to be in Pittsfield. I would return if in the area and looking for a beer.

Had the wings, nachos, and burger. Wings were standard for a bar as were the nachos. My burger didn't come as ordered. I ordered medium rare, I got a well done burger. Hope it was just because they were so busy.

Overall, a good place to go if in the need of a bar.

The pub isn't a particularly charming place inside but the food is decent.  I had a burger which was perfectly competent.  It was nice to have an option to order sweet potato fries, and they were very good.  I've also heard good things about the rack of ribs from someone who likes their ribs.

As only a visitor to the Pittsfield/Berkshire area, I can't say this would be my first stop for food again.  Overall it was good, not great.  Would rather seek out someplace with a bit more atmosphere for dinner

Another random stop in the Berkshires area netted us a big win after enduring a timeshare sales pitch from possibly the most irritating man on the planet

We ducked into Patrick's after discovering that the "Underground Pub" down the street is just a front for a vacant lot.

Patrick's is dark and pretty cozy - just what I want in a bar. We took our usual positions at the bar, and ordered some drinks. Maryann, who is the friendliest bartender I've ever had the pleasure to be served by, mixed a valiant attempt at a Gibson, but made it a little too dry for my taste. Whatever, at least they stock cocktail onions!

She gave us a lot of great tips about the area, not the least of which was "There's nothing to see in Pittsfield". She was kinda right, too. But I digress.

The food here was a real surprise! The burger was really quite fantastic, as are their pub fries. I really wanted to try the wings, as they are highly touted as seven-time YMCA Wing-off winners, but I'll have to wait till the next time I'm in Pittsfield. Um.

The portobello sandwich was as good as they come, fresh and full of really meaty, mushroomy flavor.

Always buy local! The two local beer selections on tap, The Steel Rail and the Pale Ale were both fantastic. The Steel Rail is lighter, with a milder hop profile, while the Pale Ale is actually darker, but with a bold, hoppy kick in the teeth. Both were great.

Apparently it's packed like sardines at night, but for lunch, we found it a pleasant, uncrowded surprisingly cool place which we would definitely check out again.

I had left over wings from this place and didn't think they were anything great. Granted they had been in a fridge for about a day and not heated up but from what I had, nothing special.

I went around xmas and wasn't that impressed. I thought service was pretty slow considering it was the afternoon and there was maybe one other customer inside. I got a burger which was fine, nothing to write home about. Tried a couple of appetizers. The blooming onion was good, tasted just like what it should. The stuffed seafood mushrooms I though were too much money for 4 of them and seafood was hard to taste, considering I doubt it was fresh anyway. Also the Chili potato skins weren't great and were horrible when taken home and eaten later.

For a quick burger then it's not bad but I doubt I will go back. Plus parking sucks.

Its a Pub so its not fine dining - met the owner who is very gracious and hard working. The restaurant is clean and the bartender was very good . I cannot get into the wings debate as I did not try them. I will be back to sample them hopefully soon - everyone was having a good time and bright lights can be fixed with a dimmer. Yes it is a local place with local people - but home town entrepreneurship should be celebrated and supported.

They get a 4 based on their wings.  The wings here are delicious, but there are a few other things left to be desired.  They prices and service are about at par, not necessarily exceptional.  If you want to get into the great Berkshire Wing Debate, go to Patrick's and sample their wings.  This will instantly give grant you the necessary credentials to sample the Old Forge wings and decide which establishment has the best wings.  One of the few locations in Pittsfield that caters to so-called "professionals" due to the proximity to the courthouse and other businesses.  Worth a try at least for the wings.

The locals call this place Patrick's Pube for a reason...

It's always too bright in this funny bar, the food is extremely mediocre, and the drinks are really weird.

    Basic local yokel Budweiser bar.

I did have to order the "Poop in a Pool" when I saw it on the drink menu once though. It came in a martini glass and was a Windex color blue (tasted like it too!!) and had a tootsie roll in the bottom.  So I suppose at the least they get brownie points for innovation. :-)
