Pete's Philly Steaks

Had a cheesesteak w/ onions & white american cheese today. Got lucky, they're on special on Wednesday's for $4.99. It was pretty darn good. Just got back from Philly & our favorite cheesesteak joint was Jim's on South St. Have to say that Pete's was pretty darn close & no long line! The Amoroso roll sealed the deal. I'll definitely be going back & will be bringing my fussy Philly born boyfriend with me.

It is def a FL cheesesteak and that is A-OK! It wasn't what I was used to at other Cheesesteak places in FL though, it was a little below average but still OK. The meat and cheese were lacking but I am a Philly spoiled cheesesteak lover so don't take my word for it.

I have been told it was an off day though and they are usually much better. So, I may try it again if in town but I wouldn't crave it as of yet.
