  This place is great! I am in Hood River often for work and play, and this is always my first stop for a cold pint. They have a fantastic atmosphere and a great staff. Their tap selection is extensive, expect to find beers here that you can't find anywhere else in town.

  What a treat!! Looking at a LOOOOONG wait at Double Mountain for lunch on a Sunday, we decided to wander up the street and see what else we could find. One block up on the opposite side of the street we found Pint Shack-no crazy crowds,no long line, no wait- in fact, the place was nearly empty! Amazed! Apparently Sundays are their slow days. We lucked out! Very cool spot, loved the overall vibe and decor, and most importantly, great tap and bottle selection! We shared a meat and cheese platter that could have used some more of something else- mustard?pickles? or grapes? or all of the above? But nevertheless what was on the platter was very good and definitely hit the spot! Service was friendly. I would definitely return, and just want to throw it out there for all of you attempting Double Mountain or Fullsail- if you don't have 45 minutes to wait for a table, this place is also great!

  Amazing selection of beers on tap and a wide bottle collection.  Local Viento wines on tap and in bottles.  You can get growlers to go for beer and wine to sip at home.  Ambiance is laid back and fun!  The service is prompt and the food is delicious!  One of my favorite Hood River pubs!

  this place is cool. A tad bit overpriced, but the selection of bottles and beers on tap as well as sick surf and ski movies and friendly staff make it a good place to get a drink or four.
