Plantation Bar & Grill

I used to LOVE Plantation. The last two times I ate here I was disappointed. I'm a creature of habit - I tend to always get the same thing when I go to a restaurant. I've been getting the same dish for years from here and the last three times(I have a three strike rule) were not up to par... At all:( I miss the old plantation!

Liked it, no anymore.

The first time I ate at the Plantation Bar & Grill was great. The food was delicious and the price was right. A couple of weeks later, we went back. Bad service, slow kitchen, and cold food. The waitress wasn't very attentive, she kept hanging out in the kitchen and talking to her friends. The kitchen was extremely slow and the restaurant was only 1/3 full. If you look at the counter inside the entrance to the kitchen, this is were your food sits until your entire tables food is ready. No heat lamp and its right next to the sink where a guy is washing the dishes! When our food was finally served to us, the "filet mignon" was actually a cheap cut of meat and our seafood platter was not even warm. Very disappointed...

Good food with Large portions served by nice Servers. I wanted to try somewhere new and i have not been here in 4 years. Walking in i could see they expanded and had lots of Sports / New Orleans Themed wall paintings. The Guy that served us was really nice, made us feel welcomed. My wife ordered a Chicken Salad, and i ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and we got a Philly Cheese steak wrap to go. As we watched people being served, you could see the food stacked high. Our food was  pretty quick, my wife loved her salad, had tons of stuff on it and she was full when done ( not sure what kind she got ). My burger was really good, i did messed up and tell them i wanted my burger Cooked Med, it came out well done. Not there fault i should have said how i wanted it, since i like my beef still pink. The Mac & Cheese was not bad, a little too hot, hurt to eat lol I took a bite of the Philly Cheese Steak wrap, not bad i like more meat then Veggie, but that's me it had great taste. Overall had a good experience and didn't break our wallets, would strongly recommend trying this place out.
