It was a slow night up the road at the Gold Club, so we decided to check out the club "formerly known as" Wagon Wheels!!! I have been several times in the past, so I recommended this spot to my friend. We take the 0:48 second drive to the club getting us there @ 1:32AM. I'll get to that.

So we walk in, and we are greeted by the door guy... I mention that I have a membership card; however, left it at home. Described it to him and sure enough, it is the same card used. He explains that I would have to get another membership to get in... at this point, I give him the "what the EFF look"! I asked: "why would i spend an additional $15 for a membership I already have?". He decides to cut us a deal. Ok... "I'll let you both in for $28/person". lol... this is where I looked at my watch. 1:32 AM.

I needed confirmation, so I asked "you do close at 2, right?"... why in the holy hell would I pay $28 for 28 minutes in your club?

My thought is... at that point in the evening, you should be doing whatever you can to help your dancers make money! I probably would've been okay with paying $20, but at that point it was GP!

So... if you do go to the "Players Club", be prepared to go into the red before you see an exposed breast. Membership is roughly $15-20 for the card... then you still have to pay a $25 cover as a member every visit. Your first visit... $40 to get in.

Maybe that business model works for them, but I will not be going back!

BTW.. the establishment itself is not ultra high end.. but the pricing is clearly ULTRA HIGH END! $40 to get in is steep!

I haven't been here in years. It actually used to be located across from Kaos up in Towson. Anyhow, the cover is steep and if it's your first time the ask you to buy a membership. It is bring your own booze which you store on your table or next to your hair. I remember I used to get lapdances from a girl named Mercedes and some other older girl who was into the Rolling Stones. This was easily 15 years ago. I've been one time since and it wasn't as good as I had remembered.

This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE strip club!!!  I think that is saying a lot because I am not your average stripclub attendee.  I've been to adult clubs around the world including Vegas, Japan, UK, Peru, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Mexico City, Texas, California, New Jersey, North Carolina, Colorado, Florida and probably some others I've missed.

The club gets a bit crowded on the weekends (Fri/Sat) so I prefer to go on the off-peak days.  The location feels a little sketchy at first being that it is on the edge of the city limits near some industrial areas and a major highway, however, they monitor the parking lot and in the years that I have been going, have never heard of anyone ever having a problem.

Seldom are there any fights or violence in the club.  Occassionally, a patron gets rowdy or inappropriate with the dancer but the bouncers quickly take care of the situation before it escalates.  Generally, the atmosphere feels very safe (after your first time) once you are inside.

Why is this place my ATF?

First, the cost.  Yes, there is a steep admission, however, it is balanced by the fact its BYOB.  For those of you who don't drink, it still beats buying sodas at rail drink prices.  You can only support a habit that you can afford!!  So the fact that for a hundred bucks, I can get in, bring a huge bottle of grey goose for your all your friends (and look like a big-baller at the same time) and the dancers (who drink), and still have tip money left for the girls or even a lap dance...really says a lot about stretching your entertainment budget.

Second, the girls.  The club is very small in comparison to most clubs of this sort, and customers do not come in droves.  The girls have to be competitve and spend a bit more time (to snuggle) with each customer to woo their business.  I feel like I get to talk to a bunch of needy young girls who want my attention (and money).  This produces a different relationship dynamic and atmosphere than your average stripclub.  Of course, there are some girls that go for the straight kill and won't give you much time of day but this is the exception.  The girls have to pay the club a straight fee for working there each night (usually somewhere around $100 plus minus) and the girls keep everything they make--meaning they don't pay commission on the lapdances.  Some clubs charge a commission on each lapdance.  Figuring out and understanding how the club and the girls make money can make a difference on your strategy to maximizing your budget.

I've been a regular at a bunch of clubs in the DC/Baltimore corridor and when I was living in DC, would drive almost an hour because it was worth it.  This club is definitely not for everyone but for those who like it, love it.

    AND I LOVE IT!!!!
