I'm stunned I haven't written a review for this wonderful business in my little town.
The space is lovely. The movie list is esoteric. The food and drink are solid. Look at the value for what you are getting. It's a bargain. And they've so helped revitalize this town. (Much more attractive than the former church at this location.)
Become a member and you can reserve seats. Buying food is not required. But they have some excellent treats for not too much. (Churros... The popcorn namesake. Both delicious choices.)
How often can you have a beer and enjoy a Zombie flick? : )
Two thumbs Up up up!
As much as I want to love and support The Lobby and their owners, I cannot support their prices--the $3 side salad was a joke. I seriously thought it was the plate's garnish. The amount of wine in a glass ... also a joke. I had several friends say they won't eat there anymore because it's pricey. I've been trying to look on the bright side, about what they bring to Easthampton--innovative business, good food, good service--but I am struggling with their overpriced food and drinks.
Review Source:If you've read my review for Popcorn Noir, you know how much I love the place. Â Honestly, it's one of the greatest things to happen to my city and it has only gotten better. Â One of the ways in which it got better was the addition of The Lobby next door.
The Lobby offers dinner seven days a week as well as lunch on Saturday and a brunch Sunday. Â The menu is fairly eclectic so if you're not adventurous you may have some difficulties in that respect. Â However for children or less adventurous eaters they do have some simple foods (and I can say that the chicken fingers are VERY good). Â They also have ample choices for vegetarians and gluten free options. Â
There is a full bar with some great cocktails and a small but varied selection of craft beers and ciders. Â You can also get Ginger Libation Green River Ambrosia in Greenfield here.
For appetizers, try the Coconut Crusted Shrimp or Smoked Salmon Rangoon. Â My favorite soup is the Butternut Squash and my current favorite entree is the Slow Cooked Beef, but I have yet to try the Pumpkin Mac 'n Cheese. Â And the desserts.. so hard to choose!
Whether you're stopping in to eat before the show next door in the theater or just looking for a great place to eat out in general, you can't go wrong with the Lobby. Â Great owners, great staff, and great food. Â Cottage Street is getting better and better.
This fabulous small business has taken Ehamp by storm! Â Kristen has brought her midas touch to Cottage Street, and we couldn't be happier! Â From Thailand, Honduras and CA she has learned amazing customer service, wonderful menu treats and comfort in decor. Â Oh yes, it's a move theatre too! Â come for the flicks, stay for the snack and great company! Â Ehamp community welcomes you to visit!!
Review Source:Love this place!
What a great idea to add some color to the rather drab Easthampton landscape. Â
I came here a few weeks ago, enjoyed front row seats thanks to our reservation (get the $25 VIP membership - it's totally worth it!), beer and delicious snacks. Â The garlic and parm popcorn was incredible. Â And really, we ended up spending about $25 and enjoyed a drink and ate enough food that we didn't have to eat lunch. Â
This is such a great concept and a really fun day/night away from home. Â My one suggestion is to go early or you'll never get a seat!
A truly unique experience! If the free admission to a movie isn't enough to lure you in, perhaps the very reasonably priced food, beer and wine will! With very limited seating (around 20 seats), be sure to arrive early - or better yet, go VIP for only $25 a year and reserve up to four seats!
