My girlfriend and I went to Portabella's on a Sunday night. We sat outside on the deck, which is aesthetically pleasing to say the least; it really is a nice a deck. We all enjoyed the nachos we ordered as well as our entree which were wraps. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the service toward the end of the meal. Our waitress had to be new, because she asked us if that was everything and she needed to give us a check because she was closing. Well, this was around 9:45, we were told when we came in that they didn't close until 1:00am on Sundays. Regardless we felt rushed out of the door. We might stop by again because we know a waitress that works there, but it's definitely at the bottom of our list due to the poor service we experienced.
Review Source:My fiance and I started coming here a couple years ago. Â Of course, like all restaurants, once they first start, they're always pretty good. Â As time went on, we started to have crappier service and worse food. Â We always enjoy the Drunken Little Neck Clams (when they're washed properly that is). Â My fiance really loved the Steak Fajita Pasta and then they took it away. Â He also ended up getting sick from their wings one night. Â I don't believe I've ever had bad tasting food really, but it's just started to really lack and my taste buds have become bored with what they serve.
Their Crab and Clam slam during the summers is always nice although this year they bumped the price up quite a bit. Â Last year it was around $22 for all you can eat and this year it took a $5 hike up. Â When it comes to this feature, they definitely beat out Arooga's.
