The food was great. The problem was that the server never came to check on us (and there were not many customers). She was just talking to her friends. Â The drinks were cheap and strong. But the customers there were using offensive language ("nigger") and the staff didn't say anything to them. She came to my table and just said "sorry about that".
Review Source:Came here after Isaac. Not much to say except it's a real dive with cheap delicious burgers. We spent several hours here eating and getting real drunk and having a good time. I would definitely go back anytime I'm in Biloxi for that burger; they only thing I wish is that they had fries instead of chips.
Review Source:This place is really seedy, but that's part of its charm. Located next to an adult video store a ways back from the beachfront in an area I would never explore without being dragged there by my co-workers, The Project Lounge is really something that has to be experienced.
I rolled in with three coworkers one Thursday evening around 8pm. It was dark outside, but on the inside the dim lighting made it feel even darker. There are some TVs placed around the bar, a jukebox, and a popcorn machine from which you can help yourself.
The server working that  night was nice but I could tell she was just talking for talking's sake, trying to say what she thought we wanted to hear.
The place is pretty small so as we sat at our table we could hear conversations from all around the bar. Fun if you're into eavesdropping on random conversations but slightly distracting if you're trying to have a conversation of your own.
The real draw of this place however, is the burger. Project Lounge claims to have the "best burger on the coast". While I'm not sure if that is true, it may very well be as the burger was surprisingly delicious and only for $4.50!!!!
Ultimately, while this place is a total dive, it is a slice of authentic life in Biloxi so it's worth checking out.
Yeah!!! Â This place is straight out of Goodfellas. Â I walked in with a few buddies and it was pitch black wit nothing but table lights to guide you until your eyes adjusted to the DARKNESS!!!
But hey I like the smell of a dive joint. The bar is full of regulars and the waitress is so cool and also an extra straight out of Goodfellas. Â I loved it it was casual, friendly and welcoming, even in the dark.
I had the rib eye sandwich (**** stars) the meat was extra tender, perfectly cooked and served with a glassic pickle and plain chips. Â The soda comes in a high ball glass but refills are free.
For the price and the ambiance I definitely will be going back!!!
Someone told me this place has the best burgers on the Coast so I had to go there yesterday and see for myself. After a few minutes in there I thought this place is like most of the bars in the world that have been open for the past 10-20 yrs or so....established clientele and menu. The few ppl (six to be exact) that were there at the time all seemed like regulars b/c the bartender was joking with all of them. The ambiance was friendly. I couldn't see myself hanging out over here but the ppl there were super-friendly.
I ordered 5 burgers to go (not all for me ppl). They were pretty big burgers dressed with onions, pickles, and lettuce. I'm not going to say that was the absolute BEST burger I've ever eaten but it was darn good. I'd put it up there at the top of my list though. Oh it's right next door to the porn shop too (is that a plus or a minus?). In my never-ending quest for the best burgers, oysters, and gumbo I can only say "I will be back for sure!"
