We had visited this resturant 8 or 9 months a go, had good food but an intolerable wait time.  Vowed not to go back.  After hearing a golf partner rave about the food, I broke down and brought a party of 7 there for dinner with an 8:15  reservation.  We were not seated immediately, but  that is understandable.  Once we were seated we had a decent waitress.  We ordered three appetizers and a couple bottle of wines, salads and mixed entrees. I think at about 9:50 I finally went up to the person in charge, a manager I though but actually was the owner.  I asked if he thought 1  1/2 hours after arriving at the resturant that all we should have so far is bread?  He agreed and finally within 10 minutes the food came trickling along.  Give the food a 5 .  Owner also sent over 2 bottles of wine on the house.
So despite the wine, and great food, I may not go back a third time.  Too bad for them as we eat out alot..

I have been hearing good things about this restaurant and I pass it everyday and it seems packed so we decided to give it a try last night.

The host greeted us and was pleasant but not really welcoming.  We didn't have reservations so we waited about 10 minutes which wasn't bad at all. There was a great jazz trio playing and I could still have a conversation with my dinner companion even quite near where they were playing.

There was a group of teenagers in for pre-prom dinner and a party of about 12 for a Bachelorette party but other than that it wasn't packed. The waitress came over almost immediately and asked if we'd like a drink. I ordered the Napolean Procsecco cocktail because hey. why not have one at the restaurant it was named after? It came pretty quick and was really delicious. We had some bread and ordered. I ordered the Bruschetta appetizer. Very tasty with the goat cheese and nice marinaded grape tomatoes.

The waitress did come back a few times and brought us out or salads. I learned that all the salad dressings are made by the restaurant and I had the balsamic vinagrette which was delicious and my companion had the sundried tomato/vodka vinagrette. Both delicious!

The main entree did take a while to come out, but it wasn't anything I would deduct points on. I ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs and as a previous reviewer said, beware ! They are HUGE! They were flavorful but a bit dry. The pasta is fresh and I could really taste the difference from dried. I prefer fresh and it was cooked perfectly. The sauce was rich and tasty but still needed that little kick. My companion ordered the special eggplant and meat lasagna and said that it was very delicious.

Overall it was a good experience. Good atmosphere, attentive service, good food and generous portions. I didn't give it 5 stars because it didn't "wow" me. I was pleased with everything but just didn't get that extra special something to boost it up to 5.

    Not worth the hassle.

I wanted to give my parents a gift card to a restaurant, and I thought Prosecco would be the perfect place--it's Italian and there's live music! What's not to like?

Well, I had a lot not to like when the simple purchase took approximately ten phone calls to complete. First, I couldn't get anyone on the phone (to make the purchase from out of town). Then, they told me to call back at specific times...when nobody was there to answer the phone. Finally, my credit card was charged--BUT THE CERTIFICATE WAS NEVER SENT, which necessitated even more phone calls. Gah! But finally, the certificate made its way to my parents, and here's their review:

A little bit deceiving--the outside is neat but just ok. The inside is very nicely decorated and looks as if you are in a restaurant in Italy.  it was clean, neat and had a lot of nice Tuscan colors.

We were placed in an glass-enclosed area off to the side which was nice and mostly private since only one other couple was there. We werent in the main dining area where there was a young lady playing a piano and singing. Even though there were many open "windows," the volume of the piped in music prevented us from hearing her.

Our waitress was very nice and shared what the specials of the day was. The soup of the day was a scallop chowder which was good. The only concern was that I was not told there was a $2 upcharge until after I ordered it. The Chicken Parmesan sauce was good, chicken cooked the way it should and the pasta cooked al dente, which I am a stickler about. The Chicken Siciliano could have been much better if the chicken wasn't overcooked. The sauce and rest were tasty but the chicken was very dry even in the sauce.

It was a pleasant dining experience except for our host, who may have been one of the owners. When we walked in, he asked how many for dinner and never gave a smile or pleasant presence about him--it was almost like we were bothering him.  He sat us at our table and said said our waitress will be right with us. Good thing she was very friendly and had a pleasant smile. On our way out, we walked right past the same host but he had his back towards us and was reading a text. He never acknowledged us even though I am sure he knew someone was leaving.

Questionable if we would go back. Nothing would stop us from doing so but nothing would make us want to go back.

Nice place with a good menu and attentive service. Prices are a tad high. Beware of the meatballs - they are delicious but about the size of a tennis ball! Seriously, this is a great place, and I'm glad they're here.

Great little Italian bistro with a good lineup of live music every time we go.  Food is always terrific, and Massimo takes good care of us.
