They serve prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays and it is delicious. The service was good. For dessert, we had the "amazing" (my husband's exact words) truffles which were $1.00 a piece. I would probably try one of their fruit cobblers next time. The setting is not fancy but very clean. I would definitely eat here again.
Review Source:NJ tourist found this gem driving around. If you are looking to mingle w the locals and have a nice meal at very reasonable prices in a safe old Main Street 1950 like area; eat here. The older waitress was great and spent time with my family in discussing area tourist things to do. The homemade fresh strawberry rhubarb pie was huge and delicious ($3.25). We spent a nice 70 minutes here but only saw 1 buffalo in the local park. Look at the brick building trim across the strdet.. Swatiki's? Try it was very busy when we went.
Review Source:If you are looking for ambience this place is not for you. It looks like it was decorated by a 50 year old bachelor. The tables and chairs look like they were stolen from a biker bar. The water glasses are those plastic cups the size of thimbles they use in college cafeterias. The waitress was a very sweet women who was working by herself so half the tables were not bussed when we came in. That being said I loved the food. The salad was fresh and ice cold. The fried chicken wasnt home made but it was still good and the tollhouse pie was great. Good food but kind of rough around the edges
