Went here for a friend's birthday party.  It's not the type of place I normally go to but for my friends.

This place serves your typical Vietnamese bar food (Quan Nhau - restaurant to drink).  The staff is consists of mostly females.  Some are friendly and some are not.

We ordered several dishes.  But the only ones I remembered are: canh ga chien nuoc mam (fried chicken wings in (sweet and sour) fish sauce), com chien ca man (fried rice with salty fish).

It's a fairly popular place to go to because of the live music and the patrons can go up and sing karaoke style.

I don't go here on my own but my friends enjoy coming here.  Each time the experience is a little different, but the liveliness of the entertainers keep us coming back.

This Nhau spot is definitely my favorite. I love the food, music is cool (as long as they're not blasting Viet stuff) and the service is great also. Who says you can't get great service at a Vietnamese establishment? Lol :) The girls here are always attentive & friendly. Not sure if Phoebe's still working at Quan Gio but she's great fun and an awesome hostess!

My favorite dishes to order are: lotus salad w/pork & shrimp, mango salad, green mango w/sweet fish sauce, snails in coconut milk & basil, clams w/basil and shaken beef. The garlic noodles that come with Shaken Beef are pretty good as well, but order egg noodles instead of macaroni. Next time, I'll have to try the baked blood clams - they look super bomb from the other photos! Dishes here, on average are about $14/plate. They also serve beer, sake, soju and wine.

It's easy to get sucked in for hours, just drinking & snacking. I do each time!

Food and service was good.  Minus a star for karoke when they were playing some good music when i first arrived and also for allowing people to smoke inside. At least the food and service made up for some of it.  Nice selection of food and drinks.  They have blue moon. Yay!  Most of the other viet lounges only have bud, bud light, heiniken, and corona..... At least they have something that I like to drink on the menu.  They also have soju which I ordered straight with out them mixing it with juice, etc.   Almost tried the yogurt soju but it looked like they were kinda heavy on the yogurt so I decided to pass on it.  Not a fan of sugary drinks. Now onto the food.  We ordered grilled goat (little salty), coconut snails (yum), fried pork intestines (ok), and bloody clams (yum).  It was interesting to see that there were some tables with females there and there was actually one full table of women next to us.  Don't see that often at places like this.
