This place is great! The service is perfect- friendly enough to where you feel taken care of, but not overly so that you feel pressured. The waiter who took my wine order was able to take my request of "sweet and bubbly" and give me a delicious sparkling wine, and the cheese plate was great. I'd never had a cheese plate where olive oil was drizzled over the bread! Thinking about it, it's an obvious move, but one that had never been done for me before. I like! I definitely reccomend going on a night where there's live music- the ambiance is great. This is definitely added to my list of "decompression Friday" options!
Review Source:We celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday this afternoon (a busy Saturday) with excellent wines and appetizers at We Olive.  We made it a wine tasting affair and ordered several different wines along with appetizers. The wine is top quality and the olives were especially yummy. The owner Phil is charming, funny and welcoming making us feel right at home. The outdoor patio seating was perfect for our party and we received excellent service from Phil the owner and his staff.  It was a great way to spend a few hours  in the afternoon, and my daughter and her friends were delighted with the wine tasting experience. Â
We Olive is located in the indoor OC Mix  marketplace  with several other eclectic shops.  It offers both indoor and outdoor seating in a warm, fun environment.  It's not a huge place, but it's definitely charming and cozy.  Live music is offered Saturday evenings.
After a sales meeting, I suggested beers and wings at Wingnuts. Â My buddy suggested this place instead. Â I was intrigued by wine and olives and decent reviews. It was a real treat. Â Tucked deep inside the OC Mix, we were treated very well by the staff. Â Unfortunately, the 7 of us had to stretch out at the long counter. Â The drawback of this place is the lack of seating. Â It's the size of a snack bar and they do not allow you to drink in the open quad area in front of the place. Â That aside, we still had a good time. Â Several of us had the Wednesday Wine Flights, which were three big wine glasses with a small pour in each. Â We sampled three and a settled on a delicious Cabernet. Â We had a bunch of the small plates and I tasted the popcorn with garlic olive oil and a plate of fresh olives.
A great spot that gets pretty crowded on a weekday happy hour. Â Good wines, good service and a good time.
