We were in the area for a pretty large group wine tasting trip. We wanted a place to gather and have some beers and food at the end of a looooong tasting day close to everyone's hotels however not too formal, scheduled or pricey. Most places in Solvang are small and were not happy to or couldn't accommodate 40 people. I called Randy's and Randy answered the phone and was more than happy to have us. He was so friendly and welcoming. Very different from the "brewery" a few doors down. He even called me a couple of times leading up to the weekend to ask questions and chat about what we needed and ensure our good time. There is a patio in the back and the antique store/bar is cozy and roomy at the same time. He has pool and board games and that night had a live band that we danced to cover songs until closing to. It was the perfect casual, no stress yet very fun place for our large versatile group to come and go as they wanted and end the weekend at. And the guys in the group really enjoyed the beer selection. Much love to Randy and his bartenders for making us feel so welcome and taking care of us. We had a great time! Note that they don't serve "real" food - they have hot dogs and things like that. It changes. But we were also allowed to order pizzas which was perfect.
Review Source:LOVE this place! Â It's odd that it's in the back of a furniture store but it's so casual and inviting, plus they have boards games and a lovely back patio. Â They serve some great micro brews too which are a refreshing change after wine tasting all day. Â Local bands play at night on the weekends. Â A super fun place to chill when you're in Solvang :)
Review Source:This is a great place to chill out with your friends. This is an antique store in the day and bar at night. They serve beer and wine. They also sell you furniture at night...if you are so inclined. They have legit bottled and tap beers, which is nice after a day of wine tasting. This is a casual and relaxed placed that plays ESPN on their big screen. There is also pacMan and darts! Â Definitely stop by to check it out!!!!!
Review Source:Love this place!!! Me and my girlfriend went to solvang for some wine tasting and refill our growlers at are favorite brewery. We walked in to this place to grab a beer and Drew totally made us feel comfortable. Not only was the beer cold and the place welcoming but Drew also helped us to find some local eateries to make our stay even better. Next time we are in town I will surely be stopping by here to grab a beer or five!!!
Review Source:It's 10AM and you aren't ready to get in the car to taste wine but you don't want to wait until 4PM to drive to Buellton to try Figueroa Mountain beers--where do you go? Â IT'S HERE! Â Yes, Randy gave us flights of beer 3 Figueroas (Davy Brown, Danish Red and Hoppy Poppy) and 1 Jubilee IPA from the tap for $6 per flight. Â I bought a bottle of the Figueroa Stout to complete the experience. Â Great fun! Â Figueroa Mountain beer is very good--Davy Brown was the favorite--and has won awards. Â Blue Moon was also available on tap as were other standard bottled beers--but why buy beer that you can get at any supermarket?
The taproom is in C&R Imports. Â Look around--there is interesting stuff. Â But the beer rules!!!
