Red Chair Lounge

I came here to study...  I know, weird, but it was so perfect.  There is nothing quite like wine served to you in a pretty glass while you study for a test. It just makes the whole studying thing somehow fun (in a weird, not getting blacked out and sharing all your secrets kind of way).  The big red chairs are super fun and cozy.  There's also a beautiful fireplace and no one got bajiggity when I sat on the floor between the fire place and the coffee table to do my studying (my friend was there on a couch so it wasn't as awkward as it sounds).  I liked this place a lot.  It's definitely a nice change of scenery from the Main street hullabaloo

Finally made it over as a group of 3 the other evening. To be truthful it is a hotel bar--- it isn't THAT special or OMGAMAZING, but it definitely has its perks that earn such good reviews here, and I think a lot of that is due to lack of options similar to its atmosphere in the area:

1. Atmosphere- despite being a hotel bar, I loved the atmosphere- intimate with a mix of tables and couches and a huge fireplace. It didn't hurt that the holiday decorations were up, making it feel really cozy. Towards the end of our visit a pianist and singer started up and that would have been nice to stay for.

2. Decent specialty drink selection-We all ordered off their menu and were happy with our drinks- they were well made and strong (in a good way). Decent wine selection.

The service was decent, and the food on the menu was good but limited- I wouldn't come here starving or with the intention of getting a true full meal. I also wouldn't come here if you are planning on living it up and getting a little wild. This is a classy place you would go to have a quiet drink and conversation with friends, or catch a cocktail with your date before heading to your restaurant of choice, etc.

I fell in love with this place. I am from HB and never thought there is a lounge place like this in iur neighborhood. Love the ambiance. Love all the drinks we had. Love the appetizers we had. Their mojitos are all tasty. I think any drink you get , you will love it bec we i had 2 drinks and my friend had 3 and everything was amazingly good. Love the music here. Dean is the piano guy and he plays amazing songs. The staffs are all friendly and nice. Love this place. It is a must visit if youre in HB!
