Nope. Not happening again. We were in the Cape for only a few days on vacation and stumbled upon Red Nun.

    Red Nun Burger - Bad
Super soggy flavorless onions, a greasy bland cheddar cheese, floppy mushrooms from a can, translucent white lettuce shavings, and a bland over-medium patty piled a-high on an...English muffin (?). So bad. I douced the fries with malt vinegar and decided to just eat those instead.

Grilled Codfish Sandwich with Pesto and Cajun Seasoning - Bad
What we expected to be a light and spicy tasting filet actually arrived dripping in oil on a non-memorable bun with pesto mayo and some "Cajun" seasoning that completely missed the mark.

It pains me to heap all of this negativity, but I really think there are a ton of opportunities for improvement. Our server, Hannah, was very sweet and accommodating. Her helpfulness and great attitude was the highest point in our meal.

Service was slow, order was taken incorrectly with 2 items missing, water wasn't given until after the food was served and the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. Took forever just to pay the bill.

My girlfriend and I went to the Red Nun Bar & Grill based upon the generally positive reviews here on Yelp, and while it wasn't the most horrible dining experience that we've ever had, it certainly wasn't the best. We chose to eat outside on the patio but I wasn't the biggest fan of the cheap little plastic chairs we had to sit in. Not that the chairs are that big of a deal, but I'd normally expect something a little bit more comfortable. I ordered a cup of clam chowder and the fish taco's, while my girlfriend ordered the veggie burger. The clam chowder was pretty good so no complaints there, however, the fish taco left much to be desired. The fish itself was decent but the taco was assembled sloppily, with a tiny bit of cabbage on the bottom of the tasteless tortilla and some unappetizing shredded cheese thrown on top. What bothered me the most about the meal though were the nacho chips that came with the tacos. The chips were stale upon arrival and not tasty in the slightest. My girlfriend's food was fine tasting according to her but by the time we got back home she had developed a bit of a stomach ache. Overall, for the price we paid the food was sub-par on all levels.

The icing on the cake to my bad meal was when I told the waiter about my stale chips and "meh" taco's, she gave me one smart-a** remark after another. She could have easily been nice about it and just offered something else right off the bat, but instead she chose to throw me sarcasm. I'm not the kind of guy to really act like some kind of entitled jerk at restaurants, but I felt somewhat disrespected.

Needless to say, we will not be returning to the Red Nun Bar & Grill.
