Red Rooster Pizzeria

We're not from this area but decided to visit this place after visiting the corn maze. We walked in and it was completely packed and there wasn't a server in sight. The one table that was available had dirty dishes on it. We waited five minutes before deciding to leave.

Oh, and there were kids running around at 10pm on a Saturday night. I can't judge the food but the atmosphere was far too noisy and chaotic. I see that it has decent reviews so I'm sure we just got unlucky but I probably won't be going out of my way to try again.

I have to admit, I'm a little biased, I used to work here way way back in the day. BUT, it was great back then and it still is now! I now live about 3000 miles away on the west coast, but every time I come home to visit, the rooster is always on my "must go to" list. In fact I usually stop in a few times! Staff is just as nice as before, with a lot of the same folks ;) I wish there was one where live! The pizzas are just as good as they were before with a few great additions. In fact Clare talked me into trying the pasta pizza (I'm sorry, I forgot the real name) I was a little hesitant, but thought "what the hell" and IT WAS AMAZING!!!! Thanks guys for keeping this place the same, it's always a treat to come home to!

My wife and I enjoy getting away from the city scene and enjoying pizza and beers in a comfortable place. Prices are modest, food portions are enormous, and service is friendly. Not to mention we like to order pizza delivery when we just don't want to cook.
