This is our experience. This place seemed it would be fun because right away we noticed the really cool LED dance floor, but the staff wasn't very welcoming. It is a bar for a younger crowd (fresh 21 year olds) that is for sure. A lot of sloppy young people. Just not laid back like many other bars around the area.
The Karaoke was not good as well, you can not hear anyone on stage singing. There are better bars right next door and across the street. We only went one time and more likely won't be going again!
I have been coming here since January of 2012 and this place really is like a second home to me. Where else could you go where the owner will actually buy you a Christmas present? Really, the staff and owners are so involved and they really care! Sure the place may look a little rough around the edges, but I think that's the whole charm of it. I really can't day enough how much I love this bar and I would highly recommend it to anyone. My favorite nights are Thursdays (karaoke run by big red the owner) and Saturdays (karaoke run by o.e of our regulars, lizette).
So.. if you are some up tight hoity toity type, you wont like it. But if you are a normal blue collar looking for a good bartender, a good beer, and a good time, this is your place.
I've been going to Roosters for about 4 months and have gone every Thursday for karaoke. The staff and regulars are friendly and the drink specials are great. I love the comfortable atmosphere and accepting attitude Roosters provides. Everyone is welcome to have a drink, share a laugh and sing some karaoke!
I recommend Roosters to all my family and friends as I always have a great time with great people.
