You're paying for atmosphere here, which is fine, just know that going in. We came here for some wine a few nights ago, and I had a $12 glass of crappy white wine. They had four or five red options and about three white options - maybe their red selection was better that night?
I'm just upset that I paid $12 plus tip for a crappy glass of wine. I'd been better off with a whole box of crappy wine for that price.
It is a good place to bring a group of friends.
Hadn't been here for a while but was wine hopping Saturday afternoon. Took my husband after convincing him to try a new place. Wine & appetizers were really good. However, not too pleased about their new payment system-pay with credit card via iPad. After ordering our items ar front of bar then waited at table gor our order. Incomplete flights of wine came out first order then second order. Had to track what we received, which is never any fun when your socializing and drinking! The staff honored what I said however, itemized receipts would had simply resolved the issue. Plus the glasses were really spotty & streaky. Who likes to drink out of dirty looking glasses? Service was random, very friendly but all over the place. They forgot to bring us glasses when they brought the wine to our table. Recommend new POS sale & new dish washing liquid.
Review Source:The service was as if we were on a reality show challenging our patience.
First time out in the San Elijo area and was really impressed with this cozy little town. Reminded me a lot of a Cardiff. Came down to meet a friend for some beverages and apps and I am certainly glad there were no time constraints. The gal who was serving us was definitely not in a hurry. The first 20-40 minutes were spent in a dehydration state while her ADHD was in overdrive. At first the lack of attentiveness was somewhat entertaining until we realized it was at our expense. Â I love supporting the non-chain locally owned businesses but this a bit ridiculous.
