Been coming here for a while and decided I should start a YELP account to show my admiration for these guys. I eat here 3 times a week and lets be clear on this. This place is a restaurant that happens to have an amazing bar. The food is always top notch. The service is always attentive and the crowd of locals is a sight to behold. A place with this kind of loyalty must be doing something right. Sometimes I wish they had outdoor seating as the space can be a bit dim, but the manager and the owner have assured me that as soon as this f@#%*&g construction in The Village is done they will be installing a patio. Speaking of the manager and the owner, these guys are quite the pair. They're both always there and always on their game. In a growing city where pretention and the "Hipster" agenda dictates the going out experience, these dudes have stayed true to a vision of comfort, quality and fun. Thank you Renner's for the past 70 years and here's to 70 more..
Review Source:Went there with my boyfriend after some live music across the street. Great service, excellent drinks, very friendly owner who personally welcomed us, made us feel at home. If you are vegetarian or vegan there is the veggie burger, salads, and some little bites but the owner said he is working on expanding the V options. We didn't try the food this time, but we will next time.
*Who needs a gay bar?! Definitely a queer friendly space*
When you first walk into Renner's you wouldn't think that this dive bar is going to satisfy your hunger. Well like the old saying goes "don't judge a book by its cover" because this place is awesome! We generally always get whatever the special is. This has included a pork tenderloin french dip, and a pulled pork sandwich. They also have burgers, hot dogs, and other finger foods to enjoy. The beer here is reasonably priced and you always walk out feeling you had a great meal at a great price.
