River Road Ice House

i would give this a zero rating but its not possible. its not just cabin 5 its all of them!!  we were in cabin 2 on july 4th and 5th 2013.  we were told that we had a refund for july 6th because there was no way we could stay in those disgusting surroundings any longer.  but the manager, a fairly large long brown haired woman flat out lied to me.  her word is not her bond.  so we paid $300 to stay in a room for 2 miserable nights that i had to sweep the bird shit and mouse shit up, good thing i had a broom with me.  obtain bleach wipes from walmart to clean the room and floor and anything else you might touch on a regular bases and it wasnt just the room. i had to clean the bathroom before i would use it. the girls bathroom was so bad, (toilet broke,had to reach into the tank to flush it) that i used the mens bathroom the rest of the trip, had to clean that too.  lets talk about the disgusting mattress omg!!  good thing i had the air mattress in the trunk, aired that up and slept on it.  if you have any intensions of sleeping late , you can blow that off because there are 3 roosters (that aparently wanted their coup back) that will wake you up at around 530am, oh yes i told you it got better..  be prepared to clean the ac filter or you will end up sick.  unfortunatly thats the one thing i didnt clean because i didnt have any duct tape to put it back together with.

Love the place, didn't like the dogs in the bar concept. I'm trying to order at the bar, and a big dog, whose owner was oblivious to the fact the dog kept sniffing me. I didn't enjoy that. if you want to take your dog to a bar, this looks like the place to do it.

Great live music venue outside the city. I can only comment on my experience from being there when a show was held in doors. This place has a small indoor stage and outside a large outdoor stage with a large cement slab and terraced grass area but the whole place is in a casual/relaxed setting.

The cover was reasonable and the drinks were cheap. The place wasn't too full when I was there but I heard when a big name comes through the joint gets packed. I will definitely return.
