Great for drinks and music. The artists they bring in are fun and fresh. The venue also produces wonderful sound. The bar staff is very friendly and attentive. The drinks are made well and are not too pricey. During happy hour they have Lionshead bottles for $1.50 which is great. The food is over priced. It is tasty but
Review Source:Don't let the name fool you this place not only has live jazz, but rock, hard rock, funk, reggae... you name it...
Decided to check it out one Friday to see a show.
The venue is small and intimate. Good place to see some live music. There is a long bar area, seating towards the back and and outside patio/smokers lounge.
I guess the crowd depends on who you're seeing... I went solo which is cool for me. A number of different people were talking about how their friends didn't make it down that night b/c they were afraid nobody they know would be there... um ok... didn't realize this was a high school party??
In any case the drinks were reasonably priced, the bartenders were very cool and attentive, and the bands sounded good in the small space. Can't speak about the food there. Would go back if a good band is coming back around. The cover was $10.
TIP: It's kinda hard to find... You can see a small sign from the street indicating where it is... once you pull in the parking lot you will see some offices... it is on the ground floor and you will see some white lattice work outside and you have to go down the stairs.
