Riverboat On the Potomac

Perhaps this place can pick itself up once Maryland legalizes Vegas style gaming. For now go for the cheap beer and great view from the balcony. The view from the main restaurant is tainted by a gross moose lodge style dining room. It's pretty bad. We had a couple ifems from the appitizer menu wich were ok. I liked the hush puppies and the crab balls were good but too cool.  Go on a nice night, sit outside with a drink and you will have a good time.

The River Boat breakfast is horrible. I ordered sausage that appeared old and discolored. I asked the waitress to exchange the sausage for bacon. The bacon tasted like it was cooked in old grease. The toast was hard and taste bad. Their salads appeared limp and filled with salt. The River Boat is a place for gambling not dining:-(

Terrible experience.  Went there at around 3:00pm the Sunday before Memorial Day.  They had two waitresses serving about 20 tables.  10 minutes after sitting down neither of them had even looked in our direction, so we bailed.
