Riverside Tavern

This place used to be SO good!! But now it just seems average.  Went there yesterday for lunch because I was craving a good burger and hadn't had a tasty LaBoomba in what seemed like over a year (shame on me!)  So, we made the trek to Fall City!

When we first walked in the door, you couldn't help but notice the smell, it smelled like raw sewage, something must have been wrong.  But we sat down and tried to ignore the smell because I was not leaving without my burger!

The waitress was noe friendly at all, and the staff used to always be so nice, and the burger was a big disappointment.  Dry, average and smaller patty than it used to be.

This doesn't mean I'll give it another chance in the future as I have to believe it is hit or miss depending on who's cooking that day, but it will be awhile before I make the drive back.

After reading my post about their neighbors down the way (Raging River)  you'll understand why this review has 4 stars.  Quick and dirty dive bar.  Where the beer is cold, the bartender is snappy and the regulars will keep you smiling.  This was a great stop for a drink before/ after a float to meet up with your friends.  Thanks for the great hospitality to your out of town friends coming over to cool off on a hot day!

Big burgers and chicken sandwiches.  Really tasty food, and a good spot for lunch.  Haven't been there for dinner or late night, but I do know the portions are big and you won't go hungry.
