I came here on a Saturday night about two years ago and ever since then I've become a regular. The food is delicious and fairly priced, the drinks are priced just as fairly. The bar staff is pretty good, I usually never wait more than 2 minutes for a drink on a crowded night. Theres not much of a dance floor, but then again it is a sports bar, they usually have all the games on and its a great place to mingle and hang out, definitely worth checking out!

We don't come here for bar scene, but we come here for brunch.

We keep coming back for brunch, because it is cheaper than going to diner.
Brunch menu is served with fresh fruit salad and mini muffins with unlimited bloody marys, screwdrivers, mimosas, juice, coffee and tea during meal .
So, a couple glasses of mimosa, coffee and brunch entrée for $12-15 (before tax and tips).  It is really good deal.
Sometime, we come here for early dinner. Pre-fix dinner is also good deal!

Food is good; price is good... what else I could ask????

Went here on Saturday night with some friends. Bartenders inside were AWFUL completely ignored me and my friend and took a LONG time just to get a BEER. I've never had such a bad experience before with bartenders. I know it's not a place for dancing but the DJ was a slob and sucked. Music was turned off around 12:45 and lights were turned on at 1:15 a.m. pretty much kicking everyone out...on a Saturday. Kitchen (which looked filthy inside) is located directly across from the women's bathroom. I would never eat there after seeing that kitchen. Speaking of never, don't count on me coming back.

Went here this past weekend because there was the St. Paddys Day Parade in RVC. My friend told me he HAD to have this burger they make... it's a burger stuffed with cheese and bacon (too much for me but he loved it.) We each got a few beers and some lunch. I ate just the plain burger and fries. First of all, it's a LARGE portion of food. I couldn't finsh it all. I liked the fries a lot, they were crispy and flavorful. My friend got a corned beef sandwich (to honor the day) and the other got baked potato soup. It all looked pretty good. But you know, it's the usual pub food. Overall, a good place to eat, okay prices and good company.

I liked it. bread was hot and fresh and they make the seasoned butter all melty for you via candle flame.

the soda tasted a little funky but i dont judge on that.  we got the spin dip which was one of the best ive had and ive had many a spin dips.  the ratio of spin to dip was more on the spin side which made me happy because i could then trick myself into believing it was healthy :) lol

most of the meals come with a choice of either soup or salad.  i got the salad which was chock full of goodness and the asian honey mustard dressing was great.

for dinner i ordered the whole wheat penne with portobello and baby spinach in a tomato sauce... .delish!  my friends got the fish or chicken tacos and they all loved their meal too.

our waitress was a sweetheart at one point she even sat down at the table and had a convo with us which i loved...

i would definitely come back here for dinner! :)

Most RVCers come here for the bar scene but I tend to stick to the dinner crowd.  When I'm visiting the in laws and they're too lazy to make me a home cooked meal, I sometimes head over to RJs to fill the void in stomach.  So far, no complaints.

Great place to go on Fridays for the 2fers, so two beers comes out to about 4.50 or so and I believe mixed drinks are 2fers as well as long as its a 1 alcohol kind of drink, usually fairly easy to get drinks as well.  Inside and outside portions to the bar, during the winter the outside is covered and has heat lamps.  No real complaints an awesome place to hang out and drink with friends and what not.   Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there really isn't a dance floor.

RJs is my favorite bar to go to on a friday night! The drinks are 2fers, and most beers are 4.50. I don't think I have ever spend more than 20 bucks here on a friday night, and I don't ever leave less than wasted. My kinda place. Service is a little slow, but just because there are so many people there. The one part I do hate about the place, is that you sometimes have to wait to go from the outside part to inside. If you have to use the bathroom, they point to the port-a-potties outside. Um gross, no thanks. other than that-- I love RJs :)

Yea, I kind of have to agree.  I can't remember the last time I had any service with personality or even friendliness.  The bartenders are kind of like walking vending machines.  I haven't eaten there but when I met a few friends there they were eating and it looked pretty good.  Other than that, I really wouldn't know.  All in all, it's just another Rockville Center bar.  They're pretty much all the same and filled with the same kind of people of which I'll make no comment.  :P

This place used to be Lily Flannagans which was shut down from several cop raids for underage drinking. It's cleaned up its act as well as its floor and decor, ripping up the old wood and installing a cherry-wood bar and booths.  It looks a heck of a lot nicer.

Too bad they also did away with the entertainment and good bartenders.  The service in the outdoor bar (which is covered and heated in the winter) is terrible--wrong drinks and the bartenders disappear.  The service inside is okay but dull.   They also serve dinner and the same bumbling service occurs.

I'd rather have my divy Lily's back rather than this cleaner boring joint.
