We just went to the Rocks Bar this past Sat night for Comedy Night and it was FANTASTIC! Â What a great deal it was too. Â The comedian was Claude Stewart and he was hilarious! Â We will be back for the next comedy night and will tell all of our friends. Â The bartenders were all very friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. Â This was entertainment at it's finest. Â Thanks Rocks Bar! Â You outdid yourself!
Review Source:I am a huge fan of The Rocks! In fact I liked the space so much that I started putting together events with them like Fashion Fridays, Infamous Comedy night, Mixology Classes and so much more! If you like to dance of a Friday or Saturday night this is the place to be in Petaluma! The ladies look lovely and the people are out to have a good time. The Rocks, it's where the party starts!
Review Source:I'm surprised they are still in business. I hear the Police were called over 50 times last year. Then after they had a riot in the streets it was very surprising they were allowed to keep the doors open. I guess they know someone on the city council. Just hope they don't have any more problems.
Review Source:On Friday and Saturday nights: pretty much the same as Infusions used to be. Â Plenty of people on the dance floor. Â Sometimes the music is kinda dumb-like head bobbing super high energy techno that you can't really dance to.
The security gawk at the dance floor from different angles..never saw this as a problem..but never saw the need either.
I fuel up before going in so really can't say much about the drinks/prices. Â No cover fees last few times.
The Rocks SUCKS. If you have any kind of swag the bouncers will hate on you. Instead of saying "hi how are you doing tonight, come on in and have fun" they just try to mean mug you like they are hard. They try to act like they are the Petaluma police department. Pretty much they are all up in your business. The drinks are super weak and the music is alright.
Review Source:This is usually one of my favorite bars to go to in downtown Petaluma with my friends. Although a lot of my friends go here, the crowd can be kinda rowdy...it's known for a LOT of fights and the cops are called often. seen some pretty crazy stuff go down here. It actually just recently re-opened after being closed for a month due to the number of fights and probably some underage drinking concerns. But, I like it because it plays great music, has a dance floor, and cool bartenders. Minus one star because of the amounts of fights it has (why can't everyone just get along?!) and they will probably be cracking down on that and checking IDs due to it's recent events. PS place will be dead except for Friday/Saturday nights around 12AM. From 12-2 though, it will be crackin!!
Review Source:I love this bar lounge. We go every time we have a reason to celebrate or when friends come to town. It is not a sleazy bar. It is more upscale then most petaluma bars. I love that The Rocks has local people play and sing during the week as well as a great DJ for dance music on the weekends. The bartenders are very friendly, funny, attentive and make great drinks! The prices are really good too! Especially compared to another popular line dancing bar down the street!
We went to San Francisco for a friends 21st birthday and ended up coming home early because we missed our home town bar; The Rocks! Needless to say the limo dropped us off at the front door and we partied till the cows came home! If you are looking to have a great, safe time stop by The Rocks Fri or Sat night around 10pm!
I really enjoy the rocks, the doormen actually remember you when you go in fairly often. The drinks are decent priced as opposed to the previous place aka infusions lamo. Â And it seems they have been much better at getting people to leave before fights and possible other things that can happen after this. Â Also adding the pool tables was a very smart idea for the place kudos. Â The owner also owns the pizza place next to the eight ball, jasper o farrels in sebastepol and penngrove pub probably the best dive bar in sonoma county. So you know he does a good thing in the bar business.
Well go at least three times then make a choice for yourself, happy trials people.
a group of 10 of us stopped  here when my brother in law turned 21 last Saturday. It was early still, probably 7ish, so not busy yet, we were the only party except one other lady. which was nice. the guys played pool, and had such a fun time. the bartender (Gabby)  was super friendly, and made yummy drinks. overall a fun experience.
