Loved, loved, loved... Could not have loved more... Our trip to Rodini last night! The atmosphere and service (ask for Heather) were perfect! What a cool throw back and kitchie place. The bar is straight out of the 50's high style and the clientele seemed to be regulars since the 70s... Some still with  the same hair and clothes. The food is good, not great, but the overall experience was top notch!
Review Source:This is without a doubt the best place to eat in Michigan City. They have the biggest and best and FRESH oysters I have ever seen, even bigger than those in Florida. I love the free appetizer plate and don't forget to add on a delightful shrimp cocktail for only $2.99. Have loved everything here...you need a reservation on weekends and holidays. The only thing that disappointed was the gyros plate...for a Greek restaurant, you would think they would serve a plentiful amount, but the meat was scarce. Stick with the steak and seafood and you will fall in love.
Review Source:Rodini's has some decent food, and I think for the amount of food you get, the prices are fair. Â They've got a great fried cheese appetizer (Saganaki) and the veal parmesan is enough for at least 2, if not 3 meals.
They have a decent lunch selection - you can get fried or grilled perch, hamburgers, a gyro sandwich and fries, salads or pasta fare.
The only thing I don't really enjoy about Rodini's is that the atmosphere is dark, red carpeting and dark wood. Â It has a 70s or 80s "high class" vibe that I don't feel has aged well. Â I would also like to see a decent craft beer selection, as they have typical American and European lagers as well as Blue Moon.
