The food was phenomenal again. Â A few pieces of advice - beware of the "market price" on the lamb chops....that was definitely a $35.00 gasp when we got the bill. Â Certainly we should have asked but last time we were here not even a year ago I remember them being around $19.00. Â Second, lock your car......even in front of the restaurant my friend's car was broken into. Â Luckily there was nothing of value in the car and the thiefs were probably very disappointed
Review Source:WOW! Â My wife and I travel all over the US and South America for work. Â We eat out about 90 % of our meals. Â I will write a review for the best places that we find in our journeys. Â Usually we will only give 5 stars once or twice a year. Â Last year we did not find one in the US that was worthy of it, but ate at many fine places that came close. Â Everything we ordered was fresh, made from scratch, season to perfection and it would put you into another state of consciousness. Â The service could not be beat. We will stop by Sahara every time we come through Michigan City, IN.
Review Source:I came here with my sister for the lunch buffet. Â
A caveat- we were the first people there, so we had the absolutely freshest food possible. Â
The food was amazing. Â
They had falafel, an eggplant dish with tomato sauce and chickpeas, gyro and chicken meat, basmati rice, salad, and lentil soup. Â Also- pita and hummus, red pepper hummus, and baba ganouj. Â
All this for $8/person. Â
Definitely rivals any of the ethnic buffets I've been to in Bloomington.
