I first learned about Bridges last week during the Chili Tasting in Michigan City. Stopped in to check it out yesterday. Had cream of broccoli soup which was average. And a grilled ham and cheese. It had a great combo of grilled onions and a spicy mustard that worked well. I like the funkiness of the place and the enthusiasm of one of the girls who was cooking. Not a bad choice this time of year.
Review Source:After hearing about this place I thought I'd try it out, BAD CHOICE! I don't normally bad mouth but my experience was horrible. We arrived and waited for (1st bad thing) 20 min for someone to acknowledge us, 2nd bad thing (waiters and waitresses were looking at us and cleaning - clean tables!), 3rd bad thing - when we were finally acknowledged we were told to move over and wait while they seated 2 Caucasian women... Then they had to clean a table for us... After 5 more min we left... (maybe we were a little dark for the place) I try not to think this but as I stated, 20 min then we were asked to move aside so that 2 Caucasian women could be seated. By the way, the place was not packed or busy... Needless to say we won't ever come back...
