I live down the street, so my friends and I come here fairly often. Drinks are cheap, their food is solid, and lots of friendly regulars. My favorite thing about this Irish pub is that they have Twisted Tea and Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat on tap! ;) And on some nights, they also host a Grateful Dead cover band that attracts a really fun crowd.

I had a party at Rollin Greens.  I had only been there a handful of times, but I had eaten there and liked the food and knew the place was well kept.  I actually rolled the dice planing on having everyone I knew there for a graduation.

I was so pleased with everything that went on.  I was in touch with the owner planning the menu and specifics right up to the day of the event.  If I didn't get him on the phone he called me back very quickly.  He was also booked the next day so I know he does a lot of catering.  He was efficient, made recommendations when I ordered certain things, and he was on top of everything.  He made the space available an hour before for decorations, and set up the room exactly how I had requested. The tables already have very nice cloth tablecloths, but adding the decorations really made the room my own.

The attention of the bartender and the staff was amazing. They made sure everyone had a drink and was happy. The owner actually showed up himself to make sure I was happy and everything was going well.   I had purchased a drink package, and they made sure to ask me if anyone went off it.  The food was FANTASTIC.  The owner had told me the everyone liked the Sheppard's Pie so I ordered it, IT WAS A SMASH,everyone still comments about it, there was Chicken Picata that was so tender, it was like butter and Sausage and Peppers that were tasty and spicy.  There was also a pasta with broccoli that was hot and garlicy and delicious.  EVERYONE at the party commented on the food. It did not taste like over cooked / processed catering food.  It was delicious.  Plus, it was not just placed out and ignored.  The owner and the staff kept checking it.  Also, during the event I realized someone was Gluten Free.  No problem, the owner quickly had the staff fix her something.

The place is very clean, they take good care of it, and it has a side entrance that leads to the room they do the party in, however the party spilled into the bar area, and there was no problem, the locals that were there were extremely friendly and nice.

My advice, if you looking for a room to have a nice party in this is an excellent resource.  I would high recommend them and use them again, as I was extremely pleased.

Rollin Greens is your typical looking bar with great pub food.  The owners pride themselves on the quality of food and drink they serve.  The staff is always smiling and interacting with customers there.  They've cleaned taps because a beer was sent back for being the tiniest of bits off.  I highly recommend their sandwiches there.  The chicken supreme is one of their best and they will give it to you grilled if you don't want it fried.  For traditional Irish fare, the sheppard's pie is huge and delish.

I have to take a star off because not all of the chairs are study there and sometimes you will shift one way and the stool/chair will feel like it's about to collapse under you.

Went here the other night to meet a group of friends.

Local bar with sub par pub grub. My Oriental Chicken was bone dry.

    Nothing special.

I've been frequenting Rollin Greens for the past 5 months. I am here from Texas, working. There ARE buy backs and the food is well above average. They have all the standard pub favorites, but many other offerings, to please all taste. There is a daily special sheet with some very well prepared and fresh items.  Excellent daily soup offerings, too. I didn't go there for the food, initially, but it definitely kept me coming back. The owner's, Mike and Roland, are frequently in the pub. They couldn't be more accommodating and have made an outsider feel like a member of the family. Great neighbor pub for drinks, food, or just a place to feel welcome.

Great atmosphere, great prices on beer/liquor and food, which was delicious.  Bartender and owner are friendly as can be and make you feel at home, even if you're not a regular.  Various special events promoted, and attracts a good crowd from all over.

Excellent location for anyone looking to change things up from the usual Long Island or Queens bar scene.  Sweet brunch menu for Sundays too.

Free wifi was an killer bonus!
