Route 80 Restaurant

after years of driving past this place, (we live blocks away) my wife and I decided to take walk over and give Route 80 Restaurant a try this morning. at 10:45 am the place was about half full with what looked like regular customers (usually a good sign). my wife and I both ordered their signature breakfast the"VW "(2 pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 strips of bacon or 2 sausage links), they have a volkswagen theme going on inside. at 11:20 our orders finally came. only once in that 35 minute time frame did anyone come over to our table to freshen my wife's coffee and when she did, she said nothing about how long it was taking for our food to be made. not an "I'm sorry abut the wait" or anything. also, my scrambled eggs were COLD !!! after waiting 35 minutes, I didn't want to send my eggs back, I just wanted to leave. to make matters worse, when we finished our meals, the waitperson offered us a free danish...now...why not offer us that during our 35 minute wait when we were hungry ? why after the meal when we were full ? :(
