At little bars like this it is all about the bartender, and I loved ours! I have walked by this tiny bar a hundred times but I will never just walk by again. It is a quirky, fun place to relax your feet after a day of shopping for Bob Marley t-shirts and incense.

When we inquired about some food the bartender was happy to announce that they proudly served frozen Hot Pockets and White Castle burgers. He did warn that the microwave they used was as old as the bar, but assured us that he would make all of the neccesary manual turns so we weren't stuck with a molten lava side and a still frozen side. ...Oddly enough, we opted out! Go across the street and get something to go from the Townhouse, you can bring it back and eat it inside.

They only have about 3 beers on tap and the bartender will float a glass full of ice in the pitcher to keep it cool. Just make sure you remember to take it out before you pour yourself a cup!

I generally love little places like this, so feel free to take my review with a grain of salt. But, if you like sarcastic bartenders, reading strange things on the walls and hanging out at little local joints in the middle of tourist traps, then this place is for you!

Not a bad place for a quick drink in Manitou. If you get tired walking around and need a place without the restaurant scene then come in here. With cheap drinks and a pool table you can kick back quite well. I can't imagine the "locals" or bikers kicking out anyone who is not. The biker crowd seems to be the old men hitting a mid life crisis and purchased a Harley. Or just men looking to get away from the hippies on the corner. If in fact you do get "Drungry" ( drunk and hungry) do not! I repeat Do Not ask for food. Hahaha the bar tender told us that they have frozen Hot Pockets and White Castle burgers that would be cooked with a 30 yr old microwave. I love dives and this is teetering on the edge of being a cheap bar and a true dive. I haven't quite figured it out yet. The older bartender with a white beard and a cowboy hat is a true sarcastic character who may offend but is a person to have a great conversation with. I'll be back next time I'm in Manitou.

The best thing about this place is it's location and it's prices.

After a long day of getting blasted at the Craft Beer Fest and a few other bars, we decided to hit up the Penny Arcade, but God forbid we sacrifice our buzz! We were able to stop in throughout the night and get beers at great prices (2 Dollar drafts.) Shots were reasonably priced as well.

No, this place isn't winning any awards for decor; but it's not trying to be anything that it isn't: It's a great place to go and have a few with some friends.

The staff was polite and most of the patrons kept to themselves or their groups.

No complaints, will definitely be back.
