On a business trip and staying on hotel row near the airport. Went the first night since next to hotel  but went the next two nights also
Every night staff and service was friendly and attentive. Menu diverse enough that could go each night without falling in a rut
Nice wine selection for a chain but could use more of the locale brews
Last chance for Ruby Tuesday in my book.....new menu is over-priced and way less food, not very appetizing either.  Ordered Shellfish Trio, included one crab cake, one small lobster tail, 3 shrimp on skewers for  about $24.  Seafood was over-cooked, somewhat cold, and very SMALL portions for the price.  Not much flavor, and the wait for food was very long...on a "not busy" night.....the wait staff was scarce, rarely checked on us.  We've tried this Ruby Tuesday a few times, with months in between, and this visit is the LAST....we won't be going there again.  Used to be a great restaurant, reasonably priced portions....new menu is lacking and not so great.
Review Source:The key reason for going here is that it is a short walk from hotel row at the Denver airport.
We walk in to order take out. Â The hostess says we can order at the bar while we have a much-needed drink after a tiring day of tornado-born flight delays. Â A bartender who clearly doesn't do well under pressure, looks at us, eyes our menus, and tells us gruffly that "We have someone who can take your order for take out." Â When we clarify that we'd like to order drinks too, he grumbles "Alright, be right with you," then turns away. Â Six minutes go by, while he's moving about the bar frantically, but not getting things done very efficiently. Â He's like one of those pedestrians who fake runs as if to get out of the middle of the road quickly, moving his arms all around, but really isn't moving fast at all. Â And also he's scowling. Â He finally comes back after 4-5 other customers had cleared out, checks our ID (thank you), then takes our order, just as pleasant as can be. Â I think we just caught him at a busy moment, and he's apparently not a guy who does well with multitasking. Â
The rest of our time there was fine. Â It's a sports bar, plain and simple. Â Big screen TV's all over, the nearest one being about 2 feet away from us, so it was a little hard to watch. Â Bad nouveau grunge music playing. Â It's all part of it. Â Drinks were standard, though they have a non-alcoholic strawberry drink that's very refreshing after flying on an airplane. Â The ribs & salad we brought back to our room to eat were great.
I'd go here again only if I needed to eat near the airport. Â It's definitely a step up from Applebees. Â Just don't mess with the bartender if he appears busy.
*NOTE* There are other Yelp review for "Ruby Tuesday's" at this same location, however they don't show up on a search since that's not the exact name of the place. Â Hence, I've started a new Yelp review page using the proper title of the restaurant (as listed on their website).
