"Is this your first time here? Oh, well then I am sorry for the bad first impression."
Our first visit happened to overlap a day where a one-man-show was running the whole restaurant. The three of us were bummed about what turned into a very, very long lunch (well over an hour and a half) but we were definitely not disappointed by the burritos, or the mexi coke, or their speciality the burger with a hot dog and bacon and ham on it. Eat two "doubles" and you'll get them all free. But then you might feel like an alien is going to blow out of your stomach so who really wins in this scenario?
We came to this restaurant looking for El Taco Bronco, but it seems that it is now under new management and is called Estilo Juarez. We ordered the smothered burrito with ground beef and the supreme nachos with barbacoa. If you dine in, you get a basket of chips made in-house and salsa of your choice. The green salsa packs a kick, but it was good. The ground beef was flavorful and cooked with finely chopped onions and tons of spices. The barbacoa was sweet and juicy, which was an interesting flavor combination with the spicy onion, savory pork green chili, white cheese, fresh tomatoes and cream piled high on the nachos. This small place is definitely family owned and had a nice atmosphere.
