  The employee are not attentive. Once you place your meat order they put their backs to you and it is hard to get their attention. The employees start talking and it is hard to stop them. They need their name tags in the back of their shirts so we can get their attention. Food just ok. Clean place.

  I've been to Rudy's several times and thus far the only thing I can say I truly enjoy is the potato salad. The BBQ is nothing to write home about. The service, however, is generally friendly and attentive. I've not tried their desserts, which I intend to do.

  I live in  Aransas Pass half of each year and left just before Rudy's opened for business.  I called (just last week) and spoke to a friendly gent there and am now looking forward to eating at Rudy's upon my return to south Texas in December. Mac's BBQ closed up in Aransas Pass two years ago and it will be nice to have another good BBQ eatery close by. I posted this just to get their address and name out there and get some reviews. I have not eaten there, yet, as I found their address on the internet and was happy that are only 5 miles from my house. looking forward to reviews  for Rudy's. and I wish them the best of luck with their business.
