My husband and I went for lunch on the weekend.
It was very slow but I love the interior it reminds me of home ( So Cal)
I had the crab cake hot lunch and i've had much better, very bready and they use imitation crab...not good. the sides were potatoes au gratin and greenbeans.
Greenbeans were very buttery and a little soggy and the potatoes were like the betty crocker ones you buy in the store.
Hubby got the bacon burger it looked good he enjoyed it.
The server was very nice and didn't need to write anything down.
We didn't have drinks though. I imagine this place is much nicer in the evening with a few cocktails.
The view is great right on the water, the bar is cute and the ambiance is laid back and fun.
I will be returning, it looks like they have a pretty good happy hour.
I'll write again after we return.
I came here with my fiancee a couple of months ago for some drinks and dancing. Unfortunately, when we got there, the weather turned sour and everyone had to move inside, so it was packed. We ordered some of the grilled fish sandwiches, she got a margarita and I got a rum runner. Everything was good. Can't comment on price though, because our waitress completely forgot to charge for our drinks.
All in all, it's a fun little place with a neat atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out.
OK I enjoyed the music, and the boats pulling up is a cool idea, however, it is super tiny. Like I'm talking size of my living room small. I feel like with the space they have, they could make better use of the seating arrangements.
Other than that, cool bar, really like the rum runners. They tasted really good on a warm night. I didn't try the food, so this is purely my drinking experience. The view itself should get 4 stars, it is so much prettier than Cleveland, and the people generally seemed happier than people at our bars. Probably because their poverty level isn't close to ours, ha anyways....I think it's a good hangout spot in Erie.
