Losing Kai was the worst thing you could have allowed. All of your other employees, especially Karley, are unpleasant and definitely not "morning" people. If you can't be happy and treat the customers pleasantly, don't be an a.m. barista. Back to Starbucks for me.
I'm sure this post will be deleted before the problem ever gets addressed. Unfortunately, this has been the pattern.
Since March i have spent $413.35 here, i clearly like it here. What i don't like is bad customer service, how many times do i have to come in as a customer before karley greets me? ... she is getting paid to work here right? News flash when you work in a customer service environment you don't get to pick and choose who you serve. Get over it and do your job and while your at it loose the attitude. I tell everyone to support this business and have for months but i will glady go elsewhere because at least everyone is always nice and happy there even when they don't want to be. I've already defended this place when other friends complain about her rude service and have had many friends already stop coming here, and for this reason i give it two stars because as a business owner i appreciate and know how important great customer service is!!
Review Source:The gluten free carrot cake amazing..I love the tea in the ceramic mugs and that they have a GF dessert I can eat! I love to sit outside or inside in the wing back chairs and chill a bit. Â So much better atmosphere than the other coffee place that start with an S...Did I mention the wine?
Review Source:Came here with my work mates when traveling. Â The service was so friendly I was surprised when I was told it is a local company and not a franchise. Â Nice variety of drinks and they are not shy about suggesting a special and they remember what you had last time, that is an unusual quality. Â Coming back next time I am in the area.
Review Source:The service is so wonderful! Very friendly people and they are willing to do any custom drink orders without any hassle. And when the barista was telling me about one of the teas she loved, she brewed up a sample and it was amazing. I'm totally going to go back and get it!
The coffee is wonderful, SO many options. I LOVE that they have both a soy and almond milk option.
We should  all be supporting this local business! :-D
Went here a few months back for a leisurely coffee with the hubs.
I read a lot of the reviews and many said to try the Earl Grey Latte. It was one of the best tea drinks I've ever had. The hubs had whatever their dark brew was that day, I don't recall.
Good ambience, good drinks, and decent prices. I'll be back.
Btw, I had an Earl Grey Latte at Starbucks after having it here and there was no comparison, Ryan Bros. knows what they're doing.
Fantastic. First time experiencing the coffeehouse. It claims to be a wine bar, but being a fan of wine bars, this is not a large one. However, their coffee could not be better. I tried the "Pumpkin Patch Latte" with almond milk. Yes, almond milk. Finally a coffeehouse in Temecula that supports my viewpoints. The taste was unreal. Creamy, natural, smooth.
Food wise, I'd eat here over a few popular restaurants. Gourmet style sandwiches for inexpensive pricing. I ordered a sandwich with lettuce, bacon (cooked perfectly), aioli, melted cheese, turkey, and I believe tomatoes. The side I ordered was a spinach salad. Surprisingly it was an almond and strawberry salad. So good.
How much did this all cost? Eleven dollars for both. Will come back -- possibly more times than I'd choose Starbucks. People who know me understand my Starbucks love.
One of the few coffeehouses that allowed us to film a short video there.
Thanks to the crew and the manager Carly!
Highly recommend them for the drinks (a large variety to choose from) and the nicest workers ever!
Plenty of open seating inside and out.
Also numerous places to eat and shop nearby.
Yum! Â I really like to support my local coffee shops, and this place makes some delicious drinks. Â I'd pick anything over Starbucks, and this is definitely the place to come in Temecula.
But, I do wish this had a drive-thru...I do like convenience when going to a coffee shop. Â And also, I feel that they are a little slow when making my coffee. Â But, it it definitely a delicious cup of coffee!
Love this place. Â Had an earl gray soy latte today and it was fantastic. Â I hope Ryan Bros. sticks around because Starbucks rules this area (unfortunately). Â I also like how its not extra for milk substitutes. Â They even offer almond milk! Â This place gets five stars because the staff is friendly, I like that their tip jar lists what each employee is striving for, they have REAL tea lattes, and you can go in there and hang out with your friends and even play board games. Â They aren't over priced either. Â My drink was $3.75 where at Starbucks it would have cost a lot more because of the soy.
Check it out.
Rarely does an establishment continue to meet and exceed my expectations. Usually there is some sort of hit or miss instance that happens blah blah blah.
Ryan Bros. (particularly at this location) are ALWAYS spot on. The customer service is fantastic, they are friendly and they have great music going.
Recently I ordered a couple jugs of their fresh apple cider (holiday party). Not only did they hand press it all (as they usually do) but they allowed me to take home one of their carriers, with no deposit, simply good faith that I was a regular and would bring it back. (Which I did). Talk about a great little neighborhood café, well look no further.
Came in looking for a mellow place to grab some caffeine and get some work done, was quite happy with Ryan Bros! Mellow and comfortable atmosphere, not noisy or crowded like Starbuck's or Panera. Comfy indoor seating with just enough tablespace to work on, or a large outside patio option. Free wifi, delicious grilled turkey/ bacon/ avocado sandwich with a side salad, and an absolutely delightful Earl Gray Vanilla Latte totally made my afternoon. Staff are friendly, service was quick, everything delicious. My new fave hangout!
Review Source:I probably will not come back here unless I am visiting Sam in Temecula (:-) but:
-They offer loose leaf tea (that can be made into tea lattes. Win!)
-They have fun, mad-hatter style chairs
-The baristas are pleasant and offer great drink ideas( if you don't want all of the fake sugar)
-It's not Starbucks!
Nice friendly service, very accommodating.  Costa Rican on tap was toasty with a chocolatey  flavor, but the finish was a bit too bitter.  While the cinnamon buns looked rich and inviting, discretion ruled and I got the banana chocolate chip muffin which was fantastic.  Good quality chocolate and subtle banana flavor made the start to another hot desert day a nice one.
Review Source:Great cozy little cafe-down-the-street feel inside, central location and convenience off Margarita Road in the Chipotle plaza outside. Very professional staff, almond and soy milk alternatives, plus flavors like Aztec Mexican cocoa and English toffee, not to forget the smoothies and local wine offerings. Yum city. Ambience includes a pastry display and sophisticated antique decor. Could've stayed hours, but because Starbucks made me a McCoffee-type chick, I'd have to actually schedule time to relax at a coffeeshop like Ryan's Bros. Great cafe for your occupy-this, anti-everything, and artsy-fartsy discussions. It's $4 for a cup of coffee no matter where I go so it's always nice to have a pleasant place to drink it.
Review Source:I come from a city that likes its choices of good dark quality espresso and coffee-Vancouver. Finding similar coffee places in suburbia Temecula/Murrieta can be a challenge. But Ryan's coffee could easily find a home in the north west.
Quality coffee Drip and espressos. Â They do specialty made in the store chocolate syrup for their mochas. Tried the Mexican mocha. Smooth and strong espresso comes through.
They also have good quality teas , black, green and roobios.
Their food is again well done. Puff pastry breakfast to Bistro baskets and wine for those that can indulge.
Worth passing the "chain coffee stores".
Staff are great.
I tried this place after hearing my friend RAVE about it all the time. I ordered the same drink I would typically order at a starbucks so I could have it something to compare it to and needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. As soon as I walked in the trendy and relaxed ambiance caught my attentions, I was then greeted by 2 girls behind the register that were very helpful and friendly. My coffee was perfect, but I love the variety that they have with flavors. This is also a great place for someone who isn't a big coffee drinker as well. Which makes it perfect for my boyfriend and I since he's not a coffee fan. This is my new coffee place! I love it!
Review Source:THE COFFEE HERE IS DELICIOUS!
i'm glad I found this place in the area - I got the Raspberry Mexican Mocha. I am a fan of Mexican Mocha's & It was so good! The coffee wasn't too heavy, it pretty much hit the spot and woke me up because I was seriously about to fall asleep in the car. Also, the decor is just a few study tables & some nicely tall upholstered arm chairs, which was nice to just hang out in!
I'll definitely be back, if I'm ever in the area! -- And I think you should too!
Lovely study spot. Comfy chairs, free wifi, and absolutely excellent, mellow music.
I hadn't been here in a while but decided to come down to try a new place to study. I read the overwhelming reviews here on Yelp and was looking forward to a good latte.
I tried the Dirty Chai Latte (espresso in a chai latte) on the barista's recommendation and I was blown away. Starbucks' version is so much harsher on the tongue. They add real chai tea to give it a richer flavor and the espresso doesn't overwhelm the whole thing.
I will definitely be back!
Everything is good.
You can pick your coffee, you can pick the chocolate in your mocha. Have it iced or hot. Enjoy reasonable prices. Relax on an upholstered arm chair or sit outside on the large shared patio while enjoying the free wifi. Chat with the staff, they're super nice. The bathroom is clean and actually, the place in general is good. Finally, we don't have to go to Starbuck's anymore.
Side-note, check out the awkward family photo hanging between the front and patio doors.
YES! When I found out Ryan's Bros. was opening in Temecula I was ecstatic. I was a regular at the one in San Diego when I worked there. Let's see...everything you order will be good. Caramello Frap, Mexican Mocha, Cowboy Coffee, etc., etc. I've never left unsatisfied or disappointed.
I have visited this location multiple times now and am happy to report, they haven't lost a beat. Same good ole coffee, same great service, same great food. Even wine and cheese. Even their cookies are some of the best ever.
If you're still going to Starbucks, you're out of your mind.
I am a musician, but I know a little bit about math. It took every bit of that little bit to come up with my 4-Stars for Ryan Bros.
There were the highs, and the lows...which took us to averages and, finally, involved some rounding up.
My calculations also involved some variables and givens. For one, I only drink decaf and do not do dairy. The scale of disappointment to pleasure is wide-ranging every time I walk into a coffee shop. I know that I am either going to be happy to get a decaf iced coffee with soy milk, or informed that I am a yuppie S.O.L. and end up crying baby panda tears.
Ryan Bros scored big marks for not having decaf iced at hand on a summer day, but they did happily offer to brew me a fresh cup. Impressed. -Then they offered the choice of Soy or Almond milk. Embossed.
Now returning to the suburb-on-the-cum with a coffee love nurtured in New York, I also have high expectations of my chosen coffee scene. The atmosphere of Ryan Bros was an odd mix of ways. A little less cozy than a Sbux, actually, yet the seating was much more comfortable, the service remarkable, but it had as much character as a model tract home. So Temec.
Coffee arrived to our table with a smile, and although the lovely barista said it was made with 'soy' instead of my requested almond, I was alright (See? I am not a yuppie! ...Okay, so what if the syrup was sugar-free, too?). The portion was an amazing deal, and once I stirred up that pup for a sip...the effect of the above variables really hit. I was sadly disappointed. Acidic, bitter...definitely not ba-da-ba-ba-ba lovin' it.
However, it was drinkable, and I was hoping as the ice melted it might help marry everything together as the wee cup probably just brew up too fast like all troublesome tweens.
And, indeed, it did mellow out as my friend and I chatted...for 4 hours. Now, here is the high: we were so comfortable that we were able to carry on without even noticing we had lasted longer than some employee's shifts. That is solid 5-star quality.
However, like I said...it came down to averages, and since I paid my $3 for a coffee (a big one, too...so prices were good), the quality of the coffee must also come into play...and that was, sadly, 3-star.
In short (yeah...that was short, lads): No, I do not do math. Yes, I would go back...but I might have a go at the wine or tea next time.
This is our new favorite coffee shop. We heard it was good and stopped by a few nights ago. It was so good we have already been back. The staff is amazing. Our first visit included some incredible latte art. The second included some failed latte art (from someone who is still learning) he started over and when he apologized for the wait, gave us a coupon for a free drink next time we come in. While he wasn't able to produce late art, the drinks were still delicious!
Very comfortable chairs and atmosphere. My wife and I played two rounds of Battleship after a date Friday and if the coffee and people weren't amazing enough, we have to go back for the simple fact that we are 1-1 and need to break our Battleship tie!
We are excited to find this place. Looking forward to making it the new hang out. Can't wait to sample the wine, cheese and desserts as well.
I decided to come here based on the many positive reviews, and was not disappointed in the least! The chai! The chai is divine. The customer service is really wonderful.
My one critique would be the lack of "comfy" chairs in this store. It's one thing that CBTL has on Ryan Bros at the moment. Right when a group left, I tried to move my things to a cushioned chair and an older couple came in and snagged the pair!
Otherwise, delicious beverages and a place to enjoy a good cuppa without that smug Starbucks logo smirking down on me.
