The grocery store is gone (it was apparently not a money making venture) but they are still there - and the food is still good!
The chef did not flip my quesadilla over on the grill though (the crystallization of the cheese really makes it!) so it was a bit of a bummer.
I hope that they make it - still one of my favorite restaurants in town!
Really good fresh tacos! Asada tacos were good, Pollo taco was better a little more flavorful and the el pastor taco was very good and exactly what I was craving! It was deliciously flavored. AND they have horchata!! Very happy about that - I've been to some 'Mexican' restaurants where they didn't even know what that was... then again it was run by white people.
My husband had the pozole - which is offered only on the weekends. He really enjoyed it, it had a lot of meat. Get it only if you're really hungry, it's a lot of food.
Staff there was really nice. They were also making everything FRESH right there. We saw them making fresh guacamole and ensuring all the avocados looked good before adding to the sauce. The store too is very clean and neat - restaurant is in back - check it out!
