LIKE A BOSS.
A former Quiznos locations becomes the Boss. The portions are absolutely huge prices are affordable. My first time there I tried the barbecue beef sandwich. I actually couldn't finish it, Â it was enormous. And delicious. Bonus points for having Dr Pepper in the soda machine.
The owner "boss" greeted us on arrival and gave us a quick rundown of the menu. The "pit" beef was unavailable the day I went.
I will change the four stars to 5 if they can duplicate the performance on my next visit. I travel to the area from Connecticut on business often, the Sandwich Boss is at the top of my lunch list.
Best food ever! Â We tried the Cuban, Philly Cheesesteak, BBQ pulled pork, fries, and sweet potato fries. Â I lived in Miami for three years and I don't think I have ever had a Cuban sandwich as good as the one I ate at the Sandwich Boss. Â Perfection! Â Delicious BBQ pork. Â The location is easy to get to and clean. Â The owner is extremely friendly as were the rest of the staff. Â I would go out of my way to stop here again.

The owner was running the register and was very friendly. The only negatives that prevented a perfect score for me were: My sandwich took about 7-8 minutes after ordering and it didn't seem all that busy at the time. The neatness of the place was lacking a little, the condiment station was pretty messy and napkins were hard to come by. Also I agree with another commenter that they are lacking bread options. I don't really care about that but I know others really prefer whole wheat etc. Minor things, I know.
Overall it was a great meal. I could tell they take great care in getting the meats just right both from taste and from hearing the owner telling a customer how they smoke some meats for 20 hours the day before etc. I left stuffed and happy. I will definitely go back.
I came to sandwich boss during the lunch period and ordered a pit beef sandwich with fries. Through a bit pricey it was pretty good. I also enjoyed the horseradish that the establishment offers. There is a lack of bread options which Chicken on the Roof offers with their pit beef, but this place has much friendlier people and more seating.

This is going to sound like I've been paid to write this, or like I'm a family friend, but neither is the case. Â Everything I have tried from this restaurant has been far beyond my expectations, and I have tried a LOT of the menu. Â From the BBQ items like pit beef and pulled pork, to sandwiches like chicken cordon bleu and beer battered rockfish(!) and cheese steak subs, each is a star and could become somebody's go to favorite. Â I've also tried the "Fat Boy" breakfast sandwich (bacon, ham, sausage, egg, and cheese on choice of bread) which is the best tasting breakfast sandwich I've ever had. And the prices are comparable to any other average sandwich shop.
On top of the great food, this is a small family business run by a few very friendly guys who serve up their food with care and great customer service. Â They'll gladly accommodate customized orders with no complaints. Â They do take some time to push out the food (think Five Guys), but it is definitely worth the wait.
The exterior of this place is very unassuming and leaves much to be desired (guessing it's work in progress since they haven't been open for all too long). Â I know it's a cliche now, but this is another instance of finding excellent food/service in a hole-in-the-wall kind of spot. Â Since we stumbled upon this restaurant, my coworkers and I have been going here for lunch practically every day, sometimes twice in a day (no kidding!).
