I would be remiss if I forgot to mention the Beer Garden!  Family owned and ran by family and friends.  Mike, Kelli and the bunch are really friendly and nice people.  Charles is the best beer server (No foam)!.  Everyone likes to hang out during their swap meeting and after usually catching a game that's on.  Lots of nice people there.  If you need a refrshing beer during your swap meeting adventure the Beer Garden or Beer wagon (By the band stand) are the place to go!

I used to love spending the night on Saturday at my best friends house in Granada Hills when I was younger. We would wake up early on Sunday and with her whole family, would get some breakfast at Holiday Burger and head to the Saugus Swap Meet. There was so much good stuff (clothes, shoes, crafts, art) and we wanted it all!

I probably haven't been in about 10 years. Then I moved to Santa Clarita Valley 2 years ago. I would pass it all the time but was too busy to stop. Finally I had time this last weekend on 5/27/12. It was such a disappointment. They have some good reviews so maybe I went on a bad day??

95% of the vendors were literally selling useless junk. The only things that interested me were the paintings and outdoor sculptors. The new shoes were all priced at retail or higher. Isn't a swap meet supposed to have deals? I noticed they did have a few food vendors but didn't see what kind of food.

I won't waste my time here again but I would suggest for everyone to experience it themselves. Go on Wednesday or Saturday since it's free and you won't feel as if you wasted money just to walk around a bunch of junk and leave. Sundays are cheap though too only $1.50 to get in.

Hahaha.. Someone said "scary ghetto".. I take it you "aint never" (ghetto) been to the SAN FERNANDO SWAPMEET?!

Either way.. I recently visited the Saugus Swapmeet and was pleasantly surprised to see all the new food vendors! I am 35 yrs old and I do remember coming here when I was younger but It was never really anything to get excited over. Now that I am an adult.. I love all the junk and the cheap prices!!

People watching for sure! There is this asian family that sits in the middle of the swapmeet with his sons and family cooking chicken/pork/beef kabobs! They are insanely good.. for only $2.00!!
At another stand they sell Tacos/Sodas for $1.00!!  Now that's what i'm talking about :)  The food, I would have to say is the best improvement I have seen here at the Saugus swap meet.

I paid $1.00 to get in.. and there was a kid walking around the swapmeet taking surveys (which i thought was pro active).. And at the end of my survey I recieved a FREE PASS!! WOOHOO I will be back!!
