I was in town for a graduation party and a family member's band was playing at The Score on a Saturday evening so we stopped by after the graduation party. I'd never been here or heard anything about it, I was a little weary about taking my 2 year old to some random sports bar to hear a band. I was pleasantly surprised at this place. It was about 7:30-8pm and was pretty crowded. We made our way to the outdoor patio area and grabbed a hightop table in the bar area. We were quickly greated by a waitress who took our drink orders. Â The atmosphere of this place is great, it felt like we were at a real beach bar. The music was great and not too loud since we were outdoors. We didn't eat, but I've heard good things about the food so I'd like to go back for lunch or dinner. There was a mixed crowd, older and younger, families and people on dates. My kid loved the music and the sand and even the little playground area off to the side by the volleyball courts. If I lived in GR I would definitely be a regular here.
