I was in town for a graduation party and a family member's band was playing at The Score on a Saturday evening so we stopped by after the graduation party. I'd never been here or heard anything about it, I was a little weary about taking my 2 year old to some random sports bar to hear a band. I was pleasantly surprised at this place. It was about 7:30-8pm and was pretty crowded. We made our way to the outdoor patio area and grabbed a hightop table in the bar area. We were quickly greated by a waitress who took our drink orders.  The atmosphere of this place is great, it felt like we were at a real beach bar. The music was great and not too loud since we were outdoors. We didn't eat, but I've heard good things about the food so I'd like to go back for lunch or dinner. There was a mixed crowd, older and younger, families and people on dates. My kid loved the music and the sand and even the little playground area off to the side by the volleyball courts. If I lived in GR I would definitely be a regular here.

What a cool place! Great drinks, better than average food, and great entertainment!  The beach setting is very nice. I can't believe this place isn't rated higher.

Great bar food I am typically a loyal yelper, but I found no issues that were described in earlier reviews.  We had multiple servers bringing food out to our party that was quick and the manager stopped by several times to check on us.

The service was bad, and the food wasn't that much better. The portion of my salad was tiny, even though it was an entree salad. My husband's sandwich was mediocre at best. I likely wouldn't choose to return. The setting is fun in the summer, but still not worth the poor service and food.

I don't see (No Star). Owner is very rude and the food is piss poor!  Took 20 minutes to get a beer and 20 minutes more to have my order taken!  Joe the owner could care less about the patron.  He's worried about his wallet!  Wake up people and quit supporting this place!  It 's awful!!!!!!!

Sat down on the eating side while my friends had food, I just had a few beers. Our server was EXCELLENT. Although it is very noisy on the bar side, the sit-down side wasn't too bad except for the football fans cheering under the TVs every now and then...but is is a sports bar - it should be expected. Plus it's all part of the atmosphere!

The appetizers are good and the desserts are good. My friend didn't like his pasta, but the buffalo chicken wrap was quite good (according to my friends). If you decide to go here just realize it's a sports bar and not a restaurant. Stick to the simple foods or appetizers and it looks like you'll be fine.

Good atmosphere, tons of televisions.  Not a bad seat in the house!  Drink specials and great staff make it hotttttt!

Service left a lot to be desired. Food was not good. Ordered a chicken ceasar salad. I'm not sure how you can ruin a salad, but the Score managed to do it!

Some friends took us here for an early weeknight dinner about a month ago and it was not good. Plain and simple the service was downright BAD and the food was no consolation. To start it all off, I think once they seated us, they forgot about us. It took forever to even get waters!! We ordered an appetizer of cheesy sticks and when the waitress was bringing it out she dropped the sauce on the floor directly behind my dining partners and then completely pretended nothing happened. I looked at her and said "you just dropped one of the cups of sauce" to which she realized she was caught and said "oh woops, I'll bring you out another cup."..... no apology at all for getting it all over our friends' pant legs and shoes... literally by the end of the night they were still finding red sauce somewhere on them. No one offered them a napkin, offered to clean it up, or anything. It basically just sat there. We had to take extra napkins from neighboring tables to clean up the mess. I was horrified.

As if that wasn't enough, throughout the meal we were definitely the forgotten table. I don't know if it's because we chose to sit indoors (while it was hopping on the outdoor patio), but there were plenty of other full tables inside as well, so that's not really an excuse. Everyone's beers were empty many a time without any refills or any offer for refills. The pizza my boyfriend and I split was not good.

When my boyfriend and I got our check it was not correct and we had to send it back. It took forever to even get someone's attention to pay our bill the first time, once we got the corrected bill we didn't even want to pay with a card because it would take another 20 minutes to return with it. So we just paid with the cash we had on us, despite the fact that it left the waitress with very little tip. At that point, it literally did not matter. We just wanted out of there. It seemed as though nothing would stop them from giving us a horrible experience. I was embarrassed for our friends, who kept insisting it is never that bad - they are actually regulars at this place.

Went in once, had to wait 40 minutes for drinks and an appetizer because our waitress ran away. The manager even lost her...... Gave us free chips and tried to charge us at the end for them. Second trip surprised us by having gotten rid of $5 dollar apps, and $5 dollar 'Beergarita' drink and tried charging $15 dollars for the drink with the excuse of, "I'm sorry, I'm new here and they changed the menu so I don't know about the $5 dollar app or drink thing". Ok, well, charge us for a margarita and a $2 bottle of Corona and we'll give you the labor cost of mixing them together in your $0 tip for not knowing your job.

Free diarrhea!! After a frustrating evening there where my entire family left furious... that is what I am left with the next day.

We sat outside, which has a pretty fun, albeit cheesy, scene for our casual Father's Day dinner. It took at least 15 minutes for our waitress Sharon to even show up at the table. 10 more minutes for our drinks to show up, 20 minutes for her to come back and take our order, at least 30 minutes for our food to come... and every single person had something wrong with their meal and my Dad's meal was just plain MIA. (Happy Father's Day!) It took a good 30 minutes for Sharon to remedy all of the problems we had (missing sides, wrong toppings, missing silverware, refills, and of course missing meals). To top it off, she just blamed the kitchen and never apologized for anything. No manager came to acknowledge the myriad of mistakes and our food was cold by the time my Dad's food showed up. Long story short... it took over 2 hours for my family to have a basic dinner.

I am very understanding to waitresses "in the weeds" or someone new that is honest, straight forward and apologetic but Sharon was so spaced out and such a total zombie we weren't sure what her deal was. I do know for sure that I never once saw her move quickly or act the least amount concerned about anything. I looked around at her other tables and saw a sea of people getting up and getting their own mayo/refills/roll-ups/tabs printed and basically a lot of frustrated people while I saw her drift off into space.

To top off the maddening service, the food was gross and I have been using the, er, facilities nonstop ever since. Horrible!!! Out of the 6 of us, no one liked their meals. I wasn't really interested in anything on the menu in the first place (boooooooooooring) and just went with the lesser of the evil, careless bar fare. Flavorless, bland, screwed up and slow.

It's just like this place really doesn't care. They really really don't care. I will never ever ever be back.

The idea of gigantic sport bar made me really happy, however, the staff at the place think there remains don't stink. From the hostess to Brandon the manager, the rudeness just seemed to be their M.O.

I spent over $300 and they still treated me and my wife like dirt.

My advise stay away from this dump. They just want your money.

My pledge is to never go there and tell everyone of the horrible service this place calls first class service.

The idea of this place is great. Everything about it screams "sports bar". The experience there isn't up to par. I was there with a larger group of people, it was busy but there were still a lot of open tables and quite a lot of staff working. It took 30 minutes for us to receive appetizers, and another 25-35 minutes after that to receive our dishes. The good news is it only tool 2 times asking for water to receive a cup and the appetizer they forgot to put in only took 10 minutes to get to us. The chicken fingers there were sub par as well. The chicken itself appeared to be a good quality but the grease they fried it in was aweful. If I ever try eating here again I would definitely try a burger although many from our group ordered medium rare, or medium well and all received well done. Not a great experience but I'm sure it would be a nice place to go watch the game.

We've been to The Score four times now. It is EXTREMELY noisy, but that is to be expected for a sports bar. On our most recent visit, we went on a Saturday night at 6pm. They were moderately busy, and were very nice about allowing us to save a couple of tables, since we were expecting a dozen people. We ended up with about 20, and they were patient about us adding more tables to our unwieldy group.

Stay far, far away if you are vegan, as there is practically nothing on the menu you can eat. Even if you are vegetarian, pickings are slim. Really, how hard would it be to offered a substitution of beans for meat on a salad? I ended up ordering the calzone with no cheese - just green pepper, onion, and mushroom. The bread was warm and soft and tasty, but the veggies were skimpy. Come on -- if the customer is having only vegetables, don't be stingy! The marinara sauce was tasty.

My dh got the full rack of ribs, which was about 15 inches long and came with a handful of fries hidden under the ribs, and a tiny cup of cole slaw. He ate every bite and liked them. The Greek salad looked pretty good, as did a wrap (chicken salad of some sort) that one tablemate got. I didn't hear anyone complain about their food. I tasted the artichoke dip and pita that one woman ordered, and a couple of her totilla chips. Yum. The breaded, fried mushrooms were HUGE. I didn't eat any, but the people who shared them thought they were great.

The service was decent, though I needed a water refill for half an hour before I finally flagged down the waitress to ask for one.

The Score is a nice place to go watch a sporting event -- lots of TVs -- but it would be nice if they also offered trivia (a la BW3) for the non-sporty among us.

Fun sports bar atmosphere. Seems like I've only been there in the winter so I haven't been outside for seating. Good food.

This is a pretty amazing bar to check out, and it shines particularly in the summertime when one can make use of all of the outdoor facilities.

The ambiance inside is nice; typical sportsbar with lots of TVs and a combination of table types.  It's actually large enough inside that they host golden gloves boxing/MMA events.

Where it really gets interesting is outside on the gorgeous patio that overlooks a small lake and opens out onto a cabana (complete with live palm trees) with seating and bars on the sand which lead to three beach volleyball courts.  Also outside is a dance floor/stage where they feature a combination of DJs and live music.  There's even some playground equipment for kids.

Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to eat here (the food looked great; particularly the waffle-cut fries).  The alcohol seemed slightly on the pricey side ($4.50 for a 12oz domestic draft), but the selection was good and service was excellent.

We placed a pretty big take out order from here the other day - for 11 people. We ordered 4 burgers, they only made 3 and 2 of those were completely the wrong burger. They also gave us the wrong type of fries and only about 10 fries per burger at that.

I had wanted a cheddar cheeseburger but ended up with a BBQ bacon burger....it was just alright. Surprisingly it was kind of dry and the friend were just mediocre. I do have to say the bun that the burger was on was pretty tasty. But quite honestly the fact that the bun was the best part of the burger is kind of sad.

We also ordered pizza and some wings. I didn't have either of those but the people who ate them said they were decent.

If I were the type of person who gave up on a place after 1 bad experience I would never go here again for sure but luckily I am not that type of person so I am sure I will give them a 2nd chance. I sure hope it is better next time!

1.) I Remodeled this place from when it was Pietros, and they didn't touch the nasty ass kitchen from when it was pietros.  There was inches of grease under the counters, and the ceiling was brown from sweat and grease.  Sure the outside and dinning room looks nice, but if you ever see the kitchen, you will be disgusted, and never eat there again..

2.)  The owners were, racist and sexist.  While I was working on remodeling , people would come in asking for applications, and they would sit there and laugh at the people if they were fat, or a different race, and throw their applications right away.  If you were a man wanting a waiter job, they threw your application away.  One heavier girl walked in and asked for an application and they made fun or her for a half an hour.  This is why only 17 year old sluts waitress there.

3.)  I got talked into going with my dad The food took forever, and the steak was shit.

Large menu, excellent food, great atmosphere. Hopin' to sit out on the outdoor patio next time we go. Absolutely love this place. Favorites so far: East Coast Calzone and the Blue Cheese Burger. :)
